supports Habitat for

Humanity’s goal to help Habitat

homeowners achieve the

strength, stability and

independence they need to

build a better life

for themselves and their

families. The program shapes

the commitment between the

local church or parish and

Habitat for Humanity, forming a

partnership to build

sustainable, decent and

affordable homes for those in

need in Washington County,

Virginia.

PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

THREE WAYS TO HELP

1. Pray privately or as a congregation for Washington

County Habitat for Humanity, the work we do and our

homeowners.

2. Lead a devotion and prayer at the build site or house

ceremony.

3. Set aside one Sunday a year to draw attention to the

need for safe affordable housing in our area. WCHFH can

provide handouts, collection boxes and presentation

materials.

1. Give a financial Gift to support our

programs

2. Make an in-kind gift of a product or

service. 

3. Sponsor fundraisers or hold your own

fundraiser

4. Sponsor a house or part of a house build

1. Volunteer as and individual or a

group on a job site. No experience is

necessary. All training and materials

are provided.

2. Volunteer in our office doing

clerical work

3. Become a volunteer on one of our

committees helping fufill the mission

of habitat.
