To provide the most up-to-date infor-mation about games dates, times and field locations for student athletes, their parents and fans, the Solon Schools participate in Scheduel Star. This online school information source is a one-stop resource for athletic schedules.

Students, parents and fans can customize how they view the site to see daily, weekly, monthly or full-season schedules for all Solon athletics or by individual sports. An easy-to-access link is posted on the Athletics page of the Solon Schools website. Schedule Star can also be accessed directly at www.schedulestar.com. Parents and fans are also urged to call the Athletics Hotline at 349-8060 after 2:30 p.m. each day for schedule updates and changes.

Organized Parent Education Network (OPEN)

OPEN invites Solon parents, school professionals and interested community members to participate in educational seminars and networking meetings to address the problems that can interfere with a student’s school success. Topics will include special education issues, mental health as well as other concerns that prevent students from performing according to their individual potential. The goals of OPEN are: improving communication between parents and professionals, providing an information source for parents, extending parent support for academic and social concerns, and instilling school and community awareness of related issues.Anne Harmody, Parent Mentor 440-349-8039Leah Streem [email protected] Lyon [email protected]
