Himatsingka Seide Ltd (HSL) established in 1985 is in the business of manufacturingnatural silk and silk blended fabrics, silk woven yarn, etc. Its product range includesdecorative fabrics for home furnishings mainly bed linen, bridal wear, fashionfabrics for men and women wear etc.

The company operates through its spinning and weaving divisions. HimatsingkaFilati, the spinning division, has a technical collaboration with Filati Buratti of Italyand is a 100% EOU engaged in the manufacture of spun yarn. Himatsingka Wovens(weaving division), also an EOU, offers yarn-dyed decorative, bridal and fashionfabrics.

The company has a facility for manufacture of bed linen products for domestic &international markets at the Hassan SEZ in Karnataka. It has an installed capacity of60,000 meters/day of wider width cotton fabrics & 8,000 sets/day of exquisitemade-up products to cater the home textile market for brands like Osborne &Little, Baker, JAB, Zimmer & Rhode, Sahco Hesslein, Noblis, Jack Larsen,Brunschwig, Fischbacher etc.

Indias first and only luxury home furnishing fabrics store chain Atmosphere has apresence in India, Singapore and Dubai. With 12 stores in India and one each in

Dubai and Singapore, the brand has project and retail customers in the Middle East,South Asia, North Asia and India.

Every Atmosphere store offers 2,000 styles of fabrics. These are suitable fordomestic and commercial use. In addition, fabrics are also custom made for specificproject requirements. Over 85% of all retail orders are executed within 3 workingdays. Project orders are normally executed in 4 to 8 weeks.

Himatsingka Seide acquired 70% stake in Bellora, an Italian bed linen brand for Rs

116 crore. The acquisition will enable the company to spread its presence

globally. Himatsingka is also in talks with other international bed linen brands.

The acquisition of Bellora, a pan-European luxury brand, is in line with

Himatsingkas strategy to acquire high-end distribution networks in the global

home textile segment.

Different divisions of the company:

Spinning division The spinning division, was established in technical

collaboration with Filati Buratti of Italy. Equipped with the latest machinery, itproduces a wide range of regular and fancy 100 % silk and silk blended yarns.

Weaving division The weaving division, offers yarn dyed decorative, bridal and

fashion fabrics. The entire operation of winding, doubling, twisting, dyeing,

weaving and finishing is integrated under one roof.

Atmosphere Retail Store is the subsidiary of the company.
