Green Building Promotion ProgramThe "Green Building Promotion Program" of Taiwan was proposed in March, 2001 and first revised in May, 2003.One of the major promotional strategies in this program is to initiate green building designs with all public buildings.

From 2002 to 2003, twenty-eight green remodeling projects were completed for official buildings and public schools. The policies of green buildings can be viewed as successful works in the public sector.

Solar Energy

Solar energy generally refers to the use of the power of the sun’s light and heat. The use of solar energy can save the earth, like green buildings.
