ADVANTAGES

The internal threaded anchor RG MIallows for the surface flush removaland reuse of the fixing point. Ittherefore offers great flexibility.

The metric internal thread allows forthe use of standard metric screws orthreaded rods for the idealadaptation to suit the intended use.

The pre-portioned resin capsule isespecially economical for individualapplications.

The glass particles of the capsulebody rough up the drill hole wallduring the setting process. Thisminimises the amount of cleaningrequired and allows for installationunder extreme conditions, forexample in water-filled drill holes.

FUNCTIONING

The resin anchor R is suitable for pre-positioned installation whencombined with the internal threadedanchor RGMI.

The 2-component resin capsule RMcontains quick-setting styrene-freevinyl ester resin and hardener.

The internal threaded anchor RGMIis set using a hammer drill and theaccompanying setting tool inrotating and hitting motions.

During setting, the oblique edge ofthe internal threaded anchordestroys the capsule, and mixes andactivates the mortar.

The mortar bonds the entire surfaceof the internal threaded anchor withthe drill hole wall and seals the drillhole.

1) The partial safety factors for material resistance as regulated in the approval as well as a partial safety factor for load actions of γL = 1,4 are considered. As an single anchor counts e.g. an an-chor with a spacing s ≥ 3 x hef and an edge distance c ≥ 1,5 x hef. Accurate data see approval.

2) Minimum possible axial spacings resp. edge distance while reducing the permissible load.

3) For combinations of tensile loads, shear loads, bending moments as well as reduced edge distances or spacings (anchor groups) see approval.

4) For higher concrete strength classes up to C50/60 higher permissible loads may be possible.6) The given loads are valid for fixations in dry and humid concrete for temperatures in the substrate

up to +50°C (resp. short term up to 80°C) and best possible drillhole cleaning according approval.
