• Practical, Professional Development Programming made available (via videoconferencing) to all graduate campuses & available for download for later viewing
• Opportunities for service in the LA area as part of the Pepperdine community & the international PDK community: including Pepperdine’s STEP FORWARD DAY & PDK’s Chalkwalk Fundraiser
• Students with 3.80 cum GPA can wear gold honor cord to commencement ceremony

To Join…• GSEP students are eligible for either “Career Changer
Associate” or “Professional” Membership in PDK• Career Changer Associates: graduate students acquiring
their teaching credential for the first time in their careers. $35 + 7.50 chapter dues + 2.50 processing fee=$45.00
• Professional – must hold at least a BA & be credentialed as an educator or employed in an education-related field.$70 + 15.00 chapter dues + 5.00 processing fee=$90.00
• Complete the Membership Application; submit with check made payable to “PDK” to APRIL UHLIG

Governance
• A minimum of 4 officers are required for a chapter to be considered active. Officers must be professional standing: – President: lead your chapter in exciting
activities that will develop the skills of your members, raise their profile, and make a difference to education
– Treasurer: steward of chapter funds– Membership representative– Foundation representative
