In 2008, following the ground-breaking discovery of MGO by our research partners, Mānuka Health pioneered the testing and grading of Mānuka honey based on natural MGO content. MGO testing is now recognized as a precise,

reliable and scientifically verified method for grading Mānuka honey.Mānuka Health is also a member of the UMF association and also carries the UMF grade

on pack - an additional quality endorsement which authenticates New Zealand origin.
