COMMENT: There seems to be a degradation of service regarding towel availability at the installation’s fitness centers. Recently, after an afternoon workout I was told that there would be a 15 to 20 minute wait for towels. Due to my limited time, I was forced to return to work without showering. Three days later, I was informed again that there would be a 15 to 20 minute wait for towels, which in reality ended up being 40 minutes.

I will begin bringing in my own towels to avoid the lack of availability. If this is going to continue to be an issue, I suggest alerting customers so they can bring in towels and avoid the inability to shower after exercising.

RESPONSE: Thank you for your submission to the ICE system and we sincerely apologize for the towel-availability situation at our recreation centers. Unfortunately, we are

currently experiencing a towel shortage due to our patrons not returning towels to the facility bins when they are finished using this free service. We have ordered more towels and expect the delivery this month. Additionally, our gym staff is working diligently to launder our current stock as quickly as possible and to the best of their ability. Your patience and understanding is appreciated during this time.

McDONALD’S CLOSEDMcDonald’s will be closed until approximately June 10 due to building maintenance.
