As we usher in the new year, I would like to wish everybody “Happy New Year” and may charity be a way of life to enrich your life.

In reviewing our performance for year 2009, we have successfully carried out numerous activities despite facing challenging economic climate. Objectives of charitable activities have been victoriously fulfilled. Among the projects and charity works that we had accomplished were: “Single Parent Family Career Development Seminar”, “Patriotic Motivation Camp”, “An Evening of Chinese Rhapsodies Charity Concert”, “Charity Karaoke Competition”, “Treated 120 Orphans to animation “UP” movie”, Charity Premiere of the Movie “2012”, “Donation to Single Parent Families, Poor Students and Charitable Organizations”, “Donation to Medical Fund for Indonesia Earthquake Victims, In Aid of Victims of Natural Disasters In The Pacific RIM. and “Christmas BBQ Dinner with Orphans”.

These activities and projects have received very positive response and commendations from the public. To continue our mission in organising and developing meaningful charitable activities and projects, we need the support from various sectors. Therefore, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all individuals and organizations, including the media, schools and NGOs who had lend us their support. With your invaluable support, we shall walk talk and do more in 2010.

Terlebih dahulu saya bagi Yayasan CNI ingin mengucapkan “Selamat Tahun Baru” dan semoga anda hidup berbahagia dengan amal jariah.

Mengimbas kembali tahun 2009, Yayasan CNI tetap mengadakan pelbagai aktiviti sungguhpun menghadapi keadaan ekonomi yang mencabar. Aktiviti-aktiviti bermakna yang dianjurkan telah mencapai tujuannya masing-masing. Ianya termasuk “Seminar Pembangunan Kerjaya Keluarga Tunggal”, “Kem Patriotik Remaja”, “Persembahan Amal Orchestra”, “Peraduan Nyanyian Amal”, “Tajaan Menonton Wayang Kartun “Up” Untuk Anak-Anak Yatim”, “Penaja Bersama Tayangan Perdana 2012”, “ Penyampaian Bantuan Barangan Kepada Keluarga Tunggal, Pelajar Dan Badan Kebajikan”, “Bantuan Bencana Alam” dan “Riang-Ria Bersama Anak-Anak Yatim Sempena Hari Natal” dan sebagainya.

Kesemua aktiviti-aktiviti tersebut telah mendapat sambutan hangat dan pengiktirafan yang sungguh menggalakkan. Pelaksanaan setiap kegiatan amal memerlukan sokongan dan bantuan dari pelbagai pihak agar aktiviti yang berkenaan dapat disempurnakan dan dilanjutkan. Oleh itu, kami amat berterima kasih kepada mereka yang pernah menghulurkan bantuan kepada kami selama ini termasuk pihak media, sekolah, persatuan NGO dan sebagainya. 施恩愛基金會於 31/5/2009 主辦單親家庭創業計

劃說明會，近百位來自西馬各地成功申請資助的

單親父母受邀出席。

施恩愛基金會全國總會長拿汀全德蘭在致歡迎

詞時希望單親父母在基金會的資助下，能夠順利

的踏出第一步，在 CNI 事業闖出一個春天，以改

善自己及家庭的生活素質。也是單親媽媽的百萬

鑽石哈米達在會上分享她突破種種困境，堅持到

底，最終在 CNI 事業成功的心路歷程。在說到

一些特別煎熬的經驗時，她感慨的流下眼淚，與

會者感同身受的感動流淚，場面感人啟發。顏亞

生老師勉勵單親父母應該重拾信心，只要有強烈

要改變的企圖心，一定也可以在 CNI 達致成功。

笑容，信心提振。

透過 CNI 營養師現場的產品分享及示範，大家對

31 May 2009, about 100 single parents from all over Peninsula Malaysia were invited to attend a special Single Family Career Development Project seminar sponsored and run by Yayasan CNI.

In her welcoming speech, President of Yayasan CNI, Datin Angeline Koh, hoped that single parents sponsored by Yayasan CNI will take the first step towards upgrading their lives and the family’s through CNI career. During the seminar, MDAM Hamidah Mohd Amin, who is a single mother herself, told about her hardships while building her CNI career but thanks to her diligence, she has managed to build a stellar CNI career. Recalling her adversity, she moved the audience to tears. The atmosphere was emotionally-charged, stoking the fighting spirit of the audience.

“Build your self-confidence and determination to change, you will succeed with the help of CNI….” said Cikgu Gan Ah Seng to the participants. His humorous motivation talk brought on the smiles, confidence and good spirit to the room. Product sharing and demonstration by CNI

《2009子女教育獎勵金》申請結果已於去年 9 月份揭曉，共有 1986 位成績優異的學生脫穎

而出，成功獲得由 CNI 長青企業贊助總值 RM100,000 的子女教育獎勵金。分別有小學組

1130 名，中學組 820 名及中六生 50 名。這是施恩愛基金會推動“心靈工程”極為重要的

一環，這不僅對莘莘學子是一種鼓勵，同時也是一項表揚。

Nutritionist, was the first exposure to CNI’s product range. MDAM Dato’ Azman Ching shared testimonies of other distributors who regained their good health with the help of CNI’s premium quality products. He also explained about how to start the CNI career, which is to start it part-time.

Single parents who attended the seminar received sponsorship of RM70.00 for membership and RM200.00 product vouchers from Yayasan CNI. With the assistance from uplines, they signed the CNI Membership Application Forms and received their Business Kit, CNI Lyophilised Royal Jelly and product vouchers.

Datin Chuah, with Yayasan CNI Honorary President Liu Tianji and Project Chairlady for Single Parent Family Career Developmant Project, Datin Ivy Lim, presented the Business Kits to participants. Yayasan CNI sponsored RM40, 000.00 for this project. May they embark on the CNI career with commitment and appreciation.

Single Parent Family Career Development Project Sponsors Single Parents To Build CNI Career

Result of the CNI Children Education Fund 2009 was officially released in September 2009. A total sum of RM100,000.00 was contributed by CNI Enterprise towards this fund for the purpose of rewarding students who had achieved outstanding results in their exams foryear 2009.

Based on the data, a total of 1,986 students were successful in applying for the fund. Out of the total fund recipients, 1130 are from Primary School category, 820 from Secondary School while 50 are from Form 6.

It is truly an encouragement and recognition to all these outstanding students who received the reward from CNI.

Animation Movie 招待120孤兒看動畫

配合CNI黃金20年慶典，施恩愛基金會特於

16/8/2009 在 Tropicana City 廣場 GSC 電影

院舉辦《沖天救兵》(“Up”) 動畫電影慈善招待

會，邀請120名孤兒觀賞這部老少咸宜的感人

電影。

除了孤兒外，施恩愛基金會也邀請了單親家庭

孩子齊來觀賞這部電影。基金會總會長拿汀全

德蘭表示，舉辦此部電影招待會是希望為不幸

的兒童帶來歡樂，并感受到社會大眾的溫暖。

而選擇 Up 動畫則是為了傳達戲中小男孩拉塞

爾的獨立冒險、見義勇為及敬愛長輩的精神，

希望能對孩子們起春風化雨的作用。

在未觀賞電影前，孩子們也受邀前往 CNI 策略

伙伴餐廳 Otak-otak Place 享用早餐，并於動

畫結束後獲贈 CNI 禮品及 Otak-otak Place 午

餐盒。在施恩愛精心安排下，孩子們在觀賞精

彩電影之余，美味餐飲及有趣游戲活動也為小

朋友們帶來歡樂、讓他們渡過極具意義的一天。

In conjunct ion wi th CNI’s 20 Golden Years celebrations, Yayasan CNI brought 120 orphans to GSC in Tropicana City on 16/8/2009 for a charity premiere of “Up”, a lively, much anticipated animated film by Disney. Pixar.

Apart from the orphans, Yayasan CNI also invited children of single parents to the movie premiere. Said Yayasan CNI President, Datin Chuah Tek Lan, the event was organized to bring cheer to the children and show them that the community remembers them with fondness. “Up” was selected because it carried the theme of adventure, dedication, courage and respect for the elderly through the main character, a boy named Russell. It is hoped that the enthusiasm and genuine character of Russell will serve as a positive factor and somewhat change the life perspective of this less fortunate audience.

Before the show, the children breakfasted at Otak-Otak Place, a CNI affiliate restaurant. They went back to the restaurant for lunch box take away from Otak-Otak Place after the show for lunch and loads of fun; 16/8/2009 was definitely a day of merriment and fond memories for the children.

The 120 orphans were from the Rumah Kanak-kanak Angles, KL, Rumah Amal Baitul Fitrah, Agathians Shelter Home, PJ, Rotary Club, Port Klang and The Salvation Army.

Yayasan CNI’s love is bounderless! In the spirit of Merdeka August 2009, Yayasan CNI not only donated cash but also CNI products to Sepang GoldCoast’s Patriotic Camp & Family Day event on 9/8/2009. Yayasan CNI also sponsored 20 children from single parent families to join the Patriotic Camp, translating support into action. Even though the world economic is bleak, Yayasan CNI still provide funds and energy for the children’s recreational activities. Yayasan CNI hopes more people in the community will come forward to bring some difference to the lives of the less fortunate children.

贈 RM30,000.00 予臺灣博陵愛之光布偶劇團，作為該團前往災區演出

的經費，并號召臺灣施恩愛基金會志工，以實際行動進入災區奉獻愛

心，為飽受痛苦煎熬的災民與孩童帶來一股暖流。

Flood and typhoon on August 8 2009 were the most severe and disastrous in Taiwan’s history.

Thousands of residents were displaced. New lives and homes must be arranged for the disaster victims, the children’s psychological stress must be addressed, and school supplies must be replenished for them to continue their schooling. Firm in the belief that we develop when a community strives, Yayasan CNI donated RM30,000.00 to Bolin Ai Zhi Guang Puppet Troupe for shows to the grieve-stricken areas. Yayasan CNI’s volunteers in Taiwan were also dispatched to assist, sending a message to the victims and children that many people care and are willing to extend a helping hand to them.

Bolin Ai Zhi Guang Puppet Troupe brought cheers to otherwise gloomy days as they perform at temporary relief centers in Cishan, Liouguei, Baolai, Jiasian etc.

The disastrous earthquake that hit Padang district in October 2009 has caused great havoc and heavy casualties to the region. Many of the affected or injured victims were deeply in need of assistance such as medical relief.

On humanitarian ground, Yayasan CNI had come forward and donated a sum of RM5,000.00 via our affiliation, Yayasan CNI Indonesia to purchase the required medical aids for the earthquake victims.

In response to disaster fund raising charity drive initiated by the Crisis Relief Squad of MCA (CRSM) and MCA Wanita who organized a charity movie screening of “2012”, Yayasan CNI had kindly donated a sum of RM5,000.00 to the CSRM. The donation was made on 11 November 2009 at Damansara e@Curve in conjunction with the charity premiere of the movie “2012”. The fund is raised to help those who were recently afflicted with natural catastrophes in the Pacific RIM (Philipines, Indonesia and India).

“2012” is a fictional movie that featured relentless attempts made for the survival of the human race against natural calamities. Once again, Yayasan CNI had shown that we care for the unfortunate.

施恩愛基金會全國總會長拿汀全德蘭移交RM5,000.00 支票予馬華志工團，由馬華婦女組主席兼馬華志工團全國總會長拿汀巴杜卡周美芬見證。

Upon invitation by Malaysia Institute Of Arts (MIA), Yayasan CNI had paid a visit to MIA in September 2009. Besides to enhance close relationship with MIA, the purpose of the visit was to gain knowledge on the management of MIA, activities carried out and also some backgrounds of their students.Others topics that were discussed include possibility of a collaboration with MIA on Yayasan CNI ‘s Single Parent Family Caring Programme.

After 2 sessions of talks and discussion by the team of MIA to visit Yayasan CNI at Wisma CNI, both parties had come to a consensus that there are rooms of cooperation between Yayasan CNI and MIA in support and implementation of Single Parent Family Caring Programme. This is due to the fact that quite a portion of MIA students are from poor single parent families. Although they have been given some privileges in term of course fee payment, they are in need of assistance in other areas.

With this a collaboration in mind, Yayasan CNI will work closely with MIA in 2010 in providing assistance to students from single parent families, so that they could focus and excel in their studies.

Christmas is always a day that most kids are looking forward, besides hoping to receive some goodies and Christmas gift. It is also their common wishes that they can share and enjoy the festive season with their family and loved ones.

In fulfilling the dreams of the orphans, Yayasan CNI had specially organized a Christmas BBQ Dinner on 4 December 2009 at Pick n’ Brew’s Hicom-Glenmarie outlet.

For every RM40 donated by the public, an orphan was invited to enjoy the delicious BBQ dinner. From every single guest who patron the Café on that particular night, Pick n’ Brew had set aside RM5 to buy gifts for the kids.

的Pick n’Brew 西餐廳，特別邀請公眾獻愛心捐

購餐席，為孩子們實現願望。

公眾只要樂捐每份餐席RM40，就可款待一名

孤兒享用聖誕BBQ晚餐；公眾或只到該餐廳用

餐，該餐廳即撥出RM5以購買禮物給孤兒。當

晚獲得數十位的公眾人士熱心支持與讚助，與

20多位來自Ti-Ratana慈愛之家的孤兒享用聖誕

施恩愛基金會９月份受邀至馬來西亞藝術學院

(MIA)進行親善交流拜訪，以了解該學院的經營

理念方向及學員們的家庭狀況，以尋求與該藝術

學院配合協助單親家庭孩子的教育培訓計劃。

經過 MIA 也到訪施恩愛基金會拜訪後的兩次交流

訪談，MIA與施恩愛基金會在推動單親家庭計劃

上有極大的配合空間，由於該學院有許多來自清

寒的單親家庭孩子麵臨經濟上的困境，儘管該學

院已對該些學子給予優惠，但依然無法給予他們

全方面的支援。

施恩愛基金會將由此方向出發，計劃將於2010年

與MIA合作，希望給予一些傑出的清寒單親孩子

援助，讓他們無後顧之憂的專注學業，在藝術領

域盡展才華。

The BBQ Christmas Dinner had received very good response from the public. More than 20 orphans from Ti-Ratana Welfare Society got the chance to enjoy a memorable BBQ dinner at Pick n’ Brew Café that night.

Besides the kind donation from the public, there were also gifts and goodies prepared by Yayasan CNI and sponsored by other organizations to warm the heart of the orphans. Guests who had kindly sponsored the orphans for the BBQ Dinner had also received special gift from CNI Enterprise and other sponsors.

There were also some games, magic show by the clown and lucky draw for both donors and orphans that made it the most memorable Christmas BBQ night for all.

Celebrates

In conjunction with CNI Enterprise’s 20th Golden Years celebration, Yayasan CNI had donated 10,000 packs of Mi Sehati and Joshi sanitary pads to single parent families, poor students and charity organizations throughout the country.

In this event that took place on 28th November 2009, Yayasan CNI’s National Committee and our Penang Regional Committee had visited the House of Hopes in Penang to distribute gift packs to nearly 400 poor families and single parent families.

Witnessing the presentation the gift packs was Kebun Bunga State Assemblyman, YB Jason Ong Khan Lee. In his speech, he commended and appreciated such charity activity as organized by Yayasan CNI. He also hoped that more charity activities to be conducted in the future, with more organization from the private sector to work hand in hand with the government to look after the benefit of the poor.

The rest of the products have been donated via HOPE Worldwide Charity association and 50 various NGO acoss Malaysia.

Mooncakes symbolize relationship and love which warm the heart during the Mooncake Festival! Since many underprivileged families were unable to celebrate the Festival, or even buy mooncakes, Yayasan CNI donated 500 boxes mooncakes to underprivileged children from Chinese and Tamil vernacular schools from various places in the country. Immigrant children from Myanmar and Thailand also received contributions so that they can also taste the sweetness of mooncakes while learning about the tradition of Mooncake Festival in a joyous mood.

The give away event was held in SRJK Mah Wa, Kg. Baru Rasah Seremban on 25/9/2009, by Datin Angeline Koh, President of Yayasan CNI. Recipients were children under the “Living Hope” Charity Society, mostly from Melaka, Selangor, Kelantan and Negeri Sembilan.

味外，歡渡溫馨佳節的同時進一步了

解中秋節的傳統風俗。

有關捐贈儀式是於 25/9/2009 在芙蓉

亞沙新村馬華小學進行。由施恩愛基

金會總會長拿汀全德蘭代表贈送月餅

予大馬慈善組織“人間希望”計劃下

的清貧學生，受惠學生主要來自馬六

甲、雪蘭莪、吉蘭丹及森美蘭。

施恩愛基金會配合CNI歡慶黃金20年之際，特別

捐出1萬包愛心同心面及1萬包CNI衛生棉予全國

各地的單親家庭、清寒學生及慈善團體。

施 恩 愛 基 金 會 總 部 率 同 檳 城 區 委 員 會 ， 特 於

11月２８日前往檳城打鎗鋪組屋區的盼望之

家，分發ＣＮＩ愛心物品給該區400戶的清寒及

單親家庭。此活動受到檳城植物園區州議員王

康立的熱心支持，親臨出席見證這項愛心發放

活動，他對施恩愛基金會的這項慈善活動給予

高度的評價及肯定，希望有更多的慈善團體與

政府配合，一同推動慈善活動，讓貧困人民都

能獲得照顧及享受福利。

其他的產品捐贈是不同的慈善團體，包括 HOPE

Worldwide 及全馬各地的慈善單位共 50 個。
