First Level Black

Belt（黑带1段）

1、Five routines:（必须会5个套路）

One Northern or Southern Chinese Wushu routine

One Internal Style Chinese Wushu routine

One other routine that can be from any accepted martial arts style

One short weapon routine from any accepted martial art style

One long weapon routine from any accepted martial arts style

2、Ten Qinna techniques（擒拿法）

3、Ten take down techniques（摔法）

4、Basic Taiji Push Hands ability including Peng, Lu, Ji, An, Cai, Lie, Zhou,

Kao（基本太極推手八法）

5、Twenty one step fighting techniques（二十个散打搏击技术）

6、Proficiency in free style sparring（自由散打的经验）

7、Men must be able to do 20 one handed push ups (feet placed on a foot high bench), with

each arm. Women must be able to do 30 standard two handed push ups (feet placed on a foot

high bench)（把双脚放在一尺以上物体上，男子单手虎卧撑20个、女子双手30次）

Many of the Wushu Sanshou Dao First Level Black Belt recipients have also attained the top

three rankings in international competitions held in the United States and Canada. Some have

also attained the top three rankings in world competitions. Wushu Sanshou Dao does not

require its members to compete in competitions, however, participants that are interested in

competition are encouraged to do so. The primary goal of Wushu Sanshou Dao is to nurture the

all-around martial artist.

While attending the University of Pittsburgh, David founded the University of Pittsburgh Chinese Martial Arts Association and still serves as their Chief Instructor. David has competed at numerous ICMAC sanctioned events and is a multiple gold medalist in both internal and external forms and weapons. Over the years he has studied Isshinryu Karate, Go Ju Ryu Karate, Judo, Brazilian Juijitsu and Siu Lum Pai Kung Fu. Douglas has received 1st Degree Black Belts in Manasyu Karate, Kendo and Arnis. In 2009 Douglas began studying Taiji, Xingyi and Bagua with Master Jose Johnson. Douglas was awarded his 1st Degree Black Belt by Master Johnson in 2012. Doug is a former United States Chinese Koushu Federation (USCKF) Full Contact Lei Tai Champion, winning the 1999 Heavy Weight Open Division at the USCKF International Championship. A member of the Canadian Wushu team and a student of the SYL Wushu Institute . Member of

IWSD. 3rd Black Bell.In 1998,he was a gold medalist in the Pan American Wushu Championships

and Canadian National Wushu competition in the 90 Kilogram Sanahou division.

IWSD Active Director

Perry is the webmaster for the IWSD Head-quoter and Shouyu Liang Wushu Taiji Qigong

Institute. He has learnt many disciplines of Wushu and won several top-3 places in large Wushu

competitions. He has also performed in countless Wushu demonstrations both on stage and on

national television, He most notable performed Wushu/Taiji on CCTV in China and CBC’in

Canada in a variety show commemorating the Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010 Olympics.He is

an expert Web Master and the designer of the logo and poster of the first Extraordinary Martial

Artists of the World Lunar New Year Gala.

He began studying Wushu from Liang Shouyu at age eight, Graduate from Qunmin Traditional

Chinese Medicine university.

in1992,he was the North American all -around Wushu champion in the youth division.1993 he

was a member of the Canadian Wushu team that competed in the World Wushu

Championships . in1995, he entered Beijing Physical Education University. he was a member of

the Board of Directors of Wushu BC of Canada.

Now an instructor at the SYL Wushu Taiji Qiqong institute. Hong received his 3rd degree Black

Belt from the International Wushu Sanshou Dao Association (IWSD) in 20113.

Derek began training in Wushu at the Shou-Yu Liang Wushu Taiji Qigong Institute in 1992. Since

then, he has expanded his knowledge and studied different styles including Sanshou, Xing Yi,

Taiji and the Wuji Xiao Yao System. Derek received his 1st degree Black Belt from the

International Wushu Sanshou Dao Association (IWSD) in 2008. In 2010, he won 1 Gold and 1

Silver at the Wu Dang Mountain Wushu Conference in China. Derek is also a member of the

2013 Canadian National Traditional Taiji Team. His primary interest now is in Taiji and coaching

Wushu. Derek received his 3rd degree Black Belt from the International Wushu Sanshou Dao

Association (IWSD) in 20113.
