Comments received after the Rotary Community Corps of Parker gave their

program at Keystone, CO

Thank YOU so much for giving the kids this great opportunity. Rhianna was very anxious about going but had a wonderful time, and your help and coaching really helped her feel comfortable talking to people about RCC. What an amazing learning experience for them all! Peter Yarrow was wonderful with the kids, and his message was so powerful... and his song incredibly moving. Thank you again for everything... what a wonderful weekend!

Maura, Michael and Rhianna

You know how things flash into your mind, well, I just want to share with you this dynamic group who presented on Sunday morning at the Conference in Keystone: Rotary Community Corps of Parker Check them out if you want to be blown away by what a small group of dedicated people can do. BTW, they have a cook book too. Yours in Rotary friendship. ~ Paulette (P.J.) Dyon ~ District 5450 Interact Chair

Thanks for the wonderful messages and pix. Caroline was thrilled! Congratulations on your personal awards, can't think how anyone could be more worthy. Can't even tell you how impresses and grateful I am for all you do. Having said that is anyone interested in doing book club again and what can I do to help with car wash project? Susan S

OMG I didn't catch the part about them getting to sing with Peter on stage! Susan J

I most certainly did see your exceptional RCC presentation and the members of the RCC

did a wonderful job!

APRIL 29

By Mike Oldham

It is hoped that as many of our members as

possible will attend this event which is being

held to inform youth in our community, that

over the past year have been associated with

our Rotary Club, and their parents and

siblings, about the benefits that Rotary has to

offer to them in their futures. The second goal

of this event is to determine if the parents of

any of these youth would like to consider

becoming a member in our club. Along toward

the end of this month emails will go out to the

parents and students asking for RSVPs for this

event.

I will circulate a clip board asking club

members to sign up to attend and bring a

guest if they like. My plan is to prepare an

agenda well in advance and ask our president

and president elect, and Youth Service

Chair, to speak to this group. Refreshments

will be served.

If you have questions please let me know. This

function is an activity of your club's

Membership and Youth Services committees.

Thanks, Mike Oldham
