KAWABATA ZENZAI HIROBAWhile strolling through the Kawabata Arcade, be on the look out for the Kawabata Zenzai Hiroba. It’s an open air space with a huge, colorful float similar to those used in the Gion Yamakasa Festival. Near the entrance you can order traditional zenzai azuki bean soup with two rice cakes, green tea and a dish of pickles for just ¥500! You can sit down and view the float and Hakata River every day, but the zenzai is only served on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. However, during the Yamakasa Festival (6/26 to 7/14) it can be enjoyed every day between 11:00 ~ 18:00.

川端 ZENZAI 廣場位於在有拱廊約 400 公尺的商店街裡的川端 ZENZAI 廣場裡，一面欣賞博多祇園山笠的第八座山笠，一面享受川端的名產點心ZENZAI。靠近入口處可以以 ¥500 吃到 ZENZAI 紅豆湯，日式年糕及焙茶的組合。夏天還有冰 ZENZAI 可以選擇，也是當地人愛吃的甜食。通常只營運週五到週日，山笠慶典期間 (6/26-7/14) 每天營運。在人多的博多祭典期間給自己一個喘息的機會吧！

Canezees Doughnut 博多從博多站走路約 10 分鐘的第一家福岡獨立甜甜圈店。致力於建立一個可靠的原料，每一件都是手工精心製作。除了經典的甜甜圈，也罕見的使用了剛果產的香草，綠茶，和黃豆粉等各樣風味。點十個以上可由環保腳踏車派送。日落後店家不只是一個咖啡廳，依然提供咖啡與甜甜圈，但也提供酒類如啤酒和雞尾酒，及辣烤沙丁魚及義大利千層麵類的輕食。提供戶外座位，歡迎大家來坐坐！

카와바타 젠자이 히로바400m 정도 되는 카와바타 상점가 내 젠자이 히로바에서는 연중 전시 중인 하카타 기온 야마카사의 8번 야마카사(가마)를 감상하며 단팥죽(젠자이)을 맛볼 수 있다. 호지차와 장아찌가 함께 제공되는 단팥죽의 가격은 500엔이며 기본적으로 주말(금·토·일요일)에만 판매하나 야마카사 축제 기간(6/26~7/14)에는 특별히 매일 영업한다. 한때 ‘일본에서 가장 달콤한 단팥죽’이라 불렸을 정도로 ‘단맛’이 특징이며 팥알이 알알이 살아 있는 단팥죽 위에는 고소한 떡이 2장 올라가 있다.

켄지즈 도넛 하카타하카타역에서 도보 10분 거리에 있는 후쿠오카 최초의 소규모 독립 도넛 매장. 깐깐하게 고른 재료로 정 성 스 럽 게 만 든 수 제 도 넛 을 판매한다. 일반 도넛 외에도 콩고산 바닐라, 말차, 콩고물 등 다양 한 종류의 도넛을 만나볼 수 있고 10개 이상 주 문 시 배달도 가 능하 다. 저녁에는 카페바로 운영되며 도넛 외에 맥주, 칵테일 등의 주류와 함께 칠리빈 토스트, 라자냐 등의 가벼운 식사 를 곁들일 수 있다. 카운터, 테이블, 테라스석을 모두 갖추고 있어 편리하게 이용할 수 있다.

CANEZEES DOUGHNUT HAKATALess than 10 minutes on foot south of Hakata Station is Fukuoka’s first indie doughnut shop. With an eclectic selection of regular and seasonal flavours ranging from Congan Vanilla to Green Tea and Kinako, each doughnut is lovingly handmade from responsibly sourced ingredients on the premises. They also do eco-friendly bike delivery for orders of 10 or more doughnuts. After sunset the shop turns into a groovy bar with beers, cocktails and dishes such as Lasagna, Chili Beans/Toast, Baked Spicy Sardines and more. SHIFUKULocated amongst the warehouses near Fu-kuoka Airport, this ramen shop is not easy to find but is well worth the effort. Owner Yoshinobu Sakimukai is from Kagoshima where ramen is often made with a blend of pork and chicken soup. But at Shifuku, only chicken is used. Every day, Sakimukai and his wife make all their noodles (slightly thicker and wavier than Hakata style), chicken soup and gyoza painstakingly by hand. The “assari” (light) broth is made under low and slow heat and is clear and delicate. In contrast their “kotteri” (heavy) soup is cooked at a high temperature and is milky in appearance. A plate of ten tiny gyoza is just ¥250; and be sure to try their karaage (fried chicken) which is cooked to order and also a delight. Other nice touches include child-size utensils and plates to help kids enjoy their ramen and hair bands for the longer-haired to avoid hair falling in. Shifuku proves there is much more to Hakata ramen than tonkotsu!

SHIFUKU 拉麵店在豚骨拉麵的聖地 - 博多，悄悄吹起了另一種風格「雞 × 鹽拉麵」的 "SHIFUKU 拉麵 " 。店主崎向善信是鹿兒島人，當地時常把豚骨與雞湯混合在一起。但在 "SHIFUKU 拉麵" 裡只使用雞湯。店長與夫人每天用日本產的小麥粉手工製作拉麵與餃子皮，拉麵比起一般的博多拉麵粗一些，追加麵時也有較細的麵可以選擇。湯頭有兩種，清湯以小火慢熬，湯頭透明清澈。濃湯以大火催逼，湯頭呈現乳白色。小菜有一口餃子及炸雞塊可供選擇。店裡有小孩用的餐具，及吃拉麵時防止頭髮滑落的用品。到博多請務必試試看與豚骨拉麵不一樣的新選擇！

라멘 시후쿠돼지 뼈를 우려낸 육수가 베이스인 톤코츠 라 멘 의 성 지 ∙ 하 카 타 에 새 로 운 바 람 을 불어넣고 있는 라멘 시후쿠. 오너 사키무카이 요시노부씨는 닭과 채소를 6~7시간 동안 푹 고아서 담백한 맛과 진한 맛의 두 가지 육수를 끓여내고, 엄선된 일본산 밀가루를 사용해 매일 직접 면을 만든다. 면은 일일이 손으로 만져서 고불고불하게 마무리하며, 추가용 면은 하카타 라멘의 기본인 소면처럼 얇고 곧게 뻗은 면이 제공된다. 사이드 메뉴로는 즉 석 에 서 튀 겨 내 는 카 라 아게 ( 닭 튀김 ) 와 먹 기 좋 은 한 입 사 이 즈 의 교 자 ( 일 본 식 만두)를 추천. 어린이용 식기는 물론, 식사 시 머리카락이 방해되지 않도록 여성들을 위한 머리핀까지 구비해두고 있다. 톤코츠 라멘과는 다른 색다른 맛을 즐겨보자!

Mamauo means ‘Ma’s fish dish’, and this Tenjin-based restaurant certainly cooks up the kind of

food with which a doting Japanese Mom would nourish her kids. Decorated with simple wood furnishings, this restaurant serves up a range of inexpensive, good-quality fish dishes on delicate Hakusan porcelain from nearby Hasami. Each of their meal sets comes with two bowls of rice crowned with different toppings, and three seasonal side dishes. One of the prettiest is the Hana Kaisendon set, which features a rainbow-like five fish dish: whelk, amberjack, shrimp, tuna and salm-on, all perfectly linked together by fresh chive and shiso leaf. Their most popular set is the Buri Goma no Tororodon (amberjack topped with grated yam) with Tai Chazuke (sea bream sashimi and rice on which you pour hot katsuo dashi (skipjack broth). For those who prefer their fish cooked, fish tempura, the famous Fukuokan grilled horse mackerel, and a wide variety of kushi (fish yakitori – dinner only) are available.

텐진에서 신선한 생선요리와 하카타 가정식을 가볍게 즐기고 싶다면 니시테츠 후쿠오카 텐 진 역 과 바 로 이어 진 쇼 핑 몰 솔 라 리 아 플라자 식당가에 위치한 마마우오가 제격이다. 따스한 분위기 속에서 생선요리를 중심으로 한 가정요리를 맛볼 수 있다. 이곳의 최고 인기 메뉴는 간 참마를 얹은 방어 덮밥과 도미 차즈케 세트이다. 2종류의 미니 덮밥과 오늘의 반찬 3가지, 된장국, 가다랑어 육수로 구성되어 있다. 간 참마를 얹은 방어 덮밥은 방어와 참마의 환상적인 조합에 참깨가 풍미를 더해준다. 도미 차즈케는 우선 소스를 뿌려 맛본 뒤 남은 밥에 주전자에 든 따뜻한 가다랑어 육수를 부어 먹는 음식으로 이 또한 별미이다. 후쿠오카 나우의 추천 메뉴는 하나 해산물 덮밥 세트. 고둥, 새우, 연어, 방어, 참치 등 각종 해산물이 듬뿍 올라가 보기에도 좋고 맛은 더 좋은 일품이다. 마마우오에서는 런치 등의 식사는 물론, 17시 이후에는 이자카야처럼 이용할 수도 있다. 이자카야의 단골 메뉴, 야끼토리를 마마우오에서는 해산물 버전으로 만나볼 수 있다(디너타임에만 제공). 이 생선 꼬치는 한입 크기로 먹기에도 좋고 사케나 소주와도 잘 어울린다.

These men in loincloths are participants in Fukuoka’s most anticipated annual festival, Hakata Gion Yamakasa. The highlight of the festival kicks off at exactly 4:59 am on July 15th when thousands of men from seven districts race through the streets carrying decorative, one-ton floats. Spectators line the streets cheering them on by shouting “oisa-oisa” and splashing them with water to keep them cool. Although the teams are timed, the event is not considered a race. The most successful team must exhibit cooperation and solidarity. This teamwork is not limited to just the runners. Local townspeople also participate by preparing for the festival and building floats almost a year in advance. We hope you’ll find this special map of use on the morning of the 15th. Don’t sleep in, and if you bring a camera, have a plastic bag handy because it gets really wet!

TOBATA GION OYAMAGASAFour giant floats, each 10m tall, weighing 2.5t and with 12 traditional decorated flags are carried through the town during the day. In the evening the decorations change to create a “Pyramid of Light”, 309 paper lanterns in 12 tiers. This is paraded through the town to shouts of “Yoitosa! Yoitosa!”.

戸畑祇園大山笠

戶畑祇園大山笠祭典日本擁有 200 年以上歷史的重要文化資產的傳統祭典。白日大山笠伴隨豪華裝飾的 12 大橫幅在城裡遊行，夜晚把裝飾拿掉換成 309個燈籠形成 12 層約十公尺的大山。行進中呼喊著“Yoitosa ！”。

토바타 기온 오오야마가사국가 중요무형민족문화재로 지정되어 있는 200년 이상의 역사를 자랑하는 전통 있는 축제. 낮에는 홍백 깃발 12개와 호화로운 장식으로 꾸며진 오오야마가사(가마)를, 밤에는 장식 대신 309개의 등이 달린 오오야마가사를 끌며 행진한다.

HAKATA GION YAMAKASAFukuoka’s most beloved festival, Yamakasa. From 7/1 you can see the decorative floats at 14 locations including Kushida Shrine and the neighborhoods of Hakata. The climax begins at 4:59am on 7/15 when thousands of loincloth-clad men race through the streets carrying heavy floats with shouts of “Oisa-oisa!”

博多祇園山笠祭典通知夏天來到的博多傳統祭典。在此期間，博多人偶師傅在 14 所地方安裝華麗的山笠。此祭典高潮在 7/15 凌晨 4:59 開始的追山笠，千人穿著纏腰布傳統服飾扛著山笠奔跑，嘴上喊著“Oisa-oisa”

하카타 기온 야마카사여름이 왔음을 알리는 하카타의 축제. 이 기간 중 하카타 인형으로 호화찬란하게 장식된 장식용 가마가 총 14곳에 설치된다. 축제의 클라이막스는 15일 오전 4시 59분부터 시작되는 오이야마카사. 쿠시다 신사를 출발한 가마가 하카타 거리를 내달린다.

이토시마 해변 축제 • 케야 오오토 불꽃축제이토시마시 케야 해수욕장에서 열리는 불꽃축제는 넓은 해변에 자유로이 누워 감상할 수 있다는 점이 가장 큰 특징. 5,000발이나 되는 불꽃이 밤하늘을 아름답게 수놓는다. 불꽃이 해수면을 비추는 환상적인 광경과 함께 아름다운 추억을 만들어보자.

Rider Safety Courses for Errant Cyclists CommenceAs of June 1, cyclists who commit 14 dif-ferent violations, including failure to stop at stop signs and riding while intoxicated, two or more times within three years must now take a rider safety course (3 hrs. / ¥5,700). Social Security and Tax Number System to Commence in OctoberThe Social Security and Tax Number is an ID number that will be assigned to everyone who possesses a certificate of residence. It will be used to efficiently manage data in the fields of social insur-ance, taxes and disaster response and will enable the confirmation of whether personal information held by multiple agencies refers to the same individual. Starting this October, the City will issue notification cards with your 12-digit ID number to the address listed on your certificate of residence.
