Physical Characteristics


Typical Cross-Sections


Today, Harmony Road carries the second highest level of traffic in the City.


Existing Daily Traffic Volumes


The Harmony Road intersections with College Avenue and with Timberline Road currently experience congestion during the afternoon peak hour.


Traffic Operations


The City’s top two intersections with the highest crash totals in the City are along Harmony Road (at Timberline Road and at Lemay Avenue).

Current bus service along Harmony Road is discontinuous.


Transit Service


The City has an extensive bike network, including existing bike lanes along Harmony Road; but the bicycle use on Harmony is low.

Sidewalks along Harmony Road are relatively continuous, but there are barriers to crossing the street and accessing corridor land uses. Pedestrian activity in the corridor is low.

5,800 new households are expected along the Harmony corridor by 2035 (42% increase).
