Bible Theology

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some

to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of

Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God

and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. (Eph 4:11-13)

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These

are the Scriptures that testify about me, (John 5:39)

「 聖 經 神 學 概 論 」

（ 一 ） 甚麼是神學 ?

神學這個詞匯從 THEOLOGY 翻譯過來 , 意思是有關於神的知識和學問, 由神僕摩西

在西乃山領受神所頒佈的律法誡命開始 , 一直至初期使徒時代的教會 , 每一個真正

蒙召神的先知 , 神的使徒 , 神的僕人 , 必然清悉, 確實知道, 惟有透過從神而來的

啟示, 神所默示的「聖經」,人才能真正認識神, 正如使徒保羅的宣告「世人憑自己

的智慧 , 既不認識神... 」(林前 1 : 21) 「直等到我們眾人 在真道上同歸於一, 認

識神的兒子... 」(弗 4 : 13 ), 但令人感到難過的事實, 基督教會在歷史中曾有超過

1000多年的黑暗時代, 在這期間, 基督信仰演變成虛假的信仰, 扭曲的信仰, 教會中的

許多信徒都沒有真實信主, 沒有重生得救的生命, 沒有真理的聖靈同在, 因而産生許多

從人的智慧, 人的理念, 人的研究,而愆生出來錯誤的教會傳統和扭曲的信仰理論,

更令人感到遺撼的是, 這些錯誤, 扭曲的傳統和理論竟然成爲神學教育中的一部分,

於是每況愈下, 演變成今日許多扭曲的神學理論 (如新派神學, 自由神學, 成功神學,

聖經批判學, 新正統神學…等等) 竟然成為現代神學教育中的修讀課程, 因而産生許

多沒有真理, 沒有真正認識神的牧師, 傳道, 長老, 宣教士, 導致現今世代許多的教會,

成為困苦, 可憐, 貧窮, 瞎眼, 赤身的老底嘉教會, 也成為按名是活的, 其實是死的撒

狄教會. 現今世代的教會惟一的出路是:「在真道上同歸於一, 認識神的兒子」, 誠誠實

實歸回聖經,惟獨聖經, 只有聖經, 從聖經中學習真正的神學.

（ 二 ）甚麼人應該修讀聖經神學 ?

從使徒保羅的宣告中「聖經都是神所默示的, 於教訓, 督責, 使人歸正, 教導人學義都

是有益的, 叫屬神的人得以完全, 預備行各樣的善事. 」(提後 3 : 16-17 ), 提醒每

一個屬神的人,不分性別,不分年紀,不分貧富,不分學識, 地位高低,都理所當然應該修讀

聖經神學, 以致生命得以成長成熟.

（ 三 ）甚麼群體開辦聖經神學 ?

「你也可以知道在神的家中當怎樣行, 這家就是永生「神的教會」, 真理的柱石和根

基」(提前 3 :15 ) , 「這樣, 你們不再作外人和客旅, 是與聖徒同國, 是神家裏的人

了; 並且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上, 有基督耶穌自己為房角石. 」 (弗 2 : 19-20

). 教會不單是祟拜聚會的地方, 不單是同心事奉的地方, 不單是彼此切實相愛的地方,

更是教導真理, 建立生命的地方, 開辦聖經神學是教會理所當然, 義無反顧的使命和責

任.

（ 四 ) 甚麼人教導聖經神學 ?

「你當竭力在神面前得蒙喜悦 ,作無愧的工人, 按著正意分解真理的道. 」「你卻

要凡事謹慎 , 忍受苦難, 作傳道的工夫, 盡你的職分. 」(提後 2:15 , 4:5 ) 一個蒙 神揀選, 呼召, 有真理裝備, 生命成熟, 有聖靈恩賜, 有委身, 有負擔, 經過教會驗證的

「神的工人」, 俱可以被委任教導聖經神學.

( 五 ) 甚麼是聖經神學的課本 ?

「草必枯乾, 花必凋殘, 惟有我們神的話, 必永遠立定. 」(賽 40:8) 「並且我們講說

這些事, 不是用人智慧所指教的言語, 乃是用聖靈所指教的言語, 將屬靈的話解釋屬

靈的事. 」(林前 2:13 ), 聖經本身明明的宣告, 要認識神, 認識救恩, 認識生命,

認識真理, 明白屬靈的事, 學習愛慕神, 效法神, 事奉神,只能透過聖靈所默示的聖經,

惟獨聖經, 只有聖經.

( 六 ) 怎樣預備修讀聖經神學 ?

「所以, 你們要脱去一切的污穢和盈餘的邪惡, 存溫柔的心領受那所栽種的道, 就是能救

你們靈魂的道. 」(雅 1:21 ). 聖經就是神的道, 是靈, 是生命, 更是聖潔的, 無有瑕疵

的, 修讀聖經神學時, 必須常常自潔, 脱離卑賤的事, 離開路旁的心, 石頭的心, 荊

棘的心,預備一個純一清潔的心, 成爲一個聖潔, 貴重的器皿, 領受那從神而來生命之道.

( 七 ) 修讀聖經神學的要求

「這地方的人賢於帖撒羅尼迦的人, 甘心領受這道, 天天考查聖經, 要曉得這道是與不

是. 」( 徒 17 : 11 ). 修讀聖經神學是甘心樂意的, 是有期望的, 是要付上代價的,

聖經神學預計以三年半時間完成, 盼望「以勒團契」的肢體能以愛慕的心, 饑渴慕義

的心, 恆切的心,每日完成閱讀 1至3 章聖經的基本要求.

「 念這書上預言的, 和那些聽見又遵守其中所記載的, 都

是有福的, 因爲日期近了. 」(啟示錄 1 : 3 )

Bible Theology Overview 1. What is theology?

The Chinese term “神學” is translated from the word “theology”, which means “knowledge and education related to God”. Starting from the laws and decrees God issued to His servant, Moses on Mount Sinai, to the age of the first apostles, each prophet, apostle and servant who God has called, must know clearly that it is only through God’s revelations and His God-breathed Scripture (the Bible), that man can truly know God. As the apostle Paul said “For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him…” (1 Cor 1:21) and “Until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God.” (Eph 4:13). But the saddening truth is that the Christian church passed through a dark age, lasting for more than 1000 years. During this time, the Christian faith has changed into a fake and twisted faith. In the church there are many ‘believers’ who have not truly believed in God and have not been saved or live a reborn life. They do not have the inner dwelling of the Holy Spirit within them and, as a result, many are filled with merely the wisdom, ideology and theories of man, all of which have created wrong church customs and twisted the true faith. Even more regrettably, these misconceptions, the wrong customs and theories have even become part of theology. This is has deteriorated to the extent that today, there are many twisted theology theories (for example: New School Theology, Liberal Theology, Prosperity Theology, etc) that have become subjects in theological education. This has created pastors, preachers, elders and evangelists that do not have truth or know God, leading to this age of churches that are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked like the Laodicean Church, which have a reputation of being alive, but are dead. The only solution for churches in the present age is to reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, to truthfully and sincerely return to the Holy Bible, itself, and to learn of the true theology from the Bible.

2. Who should study Bible Theology? The apostle Paul stated, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim 3:16). He reminds us that all those who belong to God, who have been consecrated to Him, regardless of age, wealth, education or social status should study Bible Theology, so that we are able to grow and mature in our lives.

3. What organizations should offer Bible Theology classes? “You will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.” (1 Tim 3:15), “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.” (Eph 2:19-20). The church is not only a place that holds Sunday services, a place where we serve Him, or even a place where we love one another, but it has a responsibility and mission to teach the Truth, build lives and, therefore, hold Bible Theology classes.

4. Who should teach Bible Theology? “Do you best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (2 Tim 2:15). “But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.” One who God has chosen and called, has been equipped with the truth, has the spiritual gift, is committed, feels the need to bear the burden, and through the church’s verification that they are a “worker of God” can teach Bible Theology.

5. What is the textbook for Bible Theology? “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever” (Isaiah 40:8). “This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. (1 Cor 2:13). The Bible has clearly states that understanding God, salvation, life, truth and spiritual matters, and learning to love, imitate and serve Him, is only possible through the God-breathed scripture, the one and only Holy Bible.

6. How do you prepare to study Bible Theology? “Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.” (James 1:21) The Bible is the way, the spirit and the life. It is Holy and without a single flaw. When studying Bible Theology, we need to cleanse ourselves, flee from the lowly things; our hearts cannot be like the path, rocky place or soil filled with thorns. We need to prepare a pure and devoted heart, to be a Holy and noble instrument, to receive the word of life from God.

7. Requirements to study Bible Theology “Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures everyday to see if what Paul said was true.” (Acts 17:11). When studying Bible Theology, one must have a willing heart with expectations and willing to pay the price. It is expected that Bible Theology class will be to be completed in three and a half years. Our hope is that members of Jireh Fellowship, with a heart of adoration, a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a devoted heart, commit to reading one to three chapters of the Bible every day.

“Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.” Revelation 1:30
