Colorado’s first blended “urban gastronomic village” and hotel district.
This is where out of town guests intermingle with Denver’s residents.
Cityset is a seven-acre mixed-use development located in the city of
Glendale/ Cherry Creek, Colorado, an “island” of sorts as it is surrounded
by the city and county of Denver. This open-air plaza concept, with
hotels, high profile restaurants and retail establishments, began in
2008 when Stonebridge Companies, a premier hotel management
company based in Colorado, bought the property in which the old
Cherry Creek Inn had lived since the 1960’s (in various iterations &
names) Stonebridge approached Stantec to remodel the hotel, which
transformed into the new 210-room Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, and
eventually the entire parcel of land.
Cityset’s 12 dining concepts target national and regional hospitality,
residential and business consumers. The 250,000-square-foot district
includes an experimental blend of restaurants and hotels creating an
organic symbiosis in a very tight and contained environment.
Cityset includes a 135-room Residence Inn by Marriott hotel,
22,500-square feet of standalone retail restaurant space and the
completely renovated 8-story, 210-room Hilton Garden Hotel which
includes increased meeting space, a full-service restaurant and
approximately 11,000-square feet of retail/restaurant space. CitySet
blends retail space and 2 branded hotels with 10 casual and high-end
dining concepts, such as The Kitchen Next Door, JAX Fish House,
Cuba Cuba, World of Beer, Etai’s, Native Foods, and Panera, among
other tenants. The property is supported by 515 parking spaces, of
which 190 are in an underground garage connecting all the uses.
