How can we help? Our specific services in brief:

Type Rating Training, from Initial to RecurrentInitial Type Rating Training: We offer both modular and synergy ini-tial training programmes, with the option of completing part of the modular course at the customer’s site. These courses are offered for the Airbus A320 family, the Airbus A330 and A340, the BAe 146/Avro RJ, the Embraer 170/190 family and the ERJ 135 and 145.

Airbus A320, A330 and A340 Cross-Crew Qualification (CCQ) Training: Our cross-crew qualification training is provided by instruc-tors with extensive experience in “mixed-fleet flying”, and using our state-of-the-art Category D full-flight simulators. The training is offered for the Airbus A320 family, Airbus A330 and Airbus A340 aircraft types.

Embraer 170/190 Bridge Course: Our bridge course provides both jet orientation and an introduction to glass-cockpit operations in a sin-gle syllabus. Intended for pilots with fewer than 500 hours of flight ex-perience, the course is offered for the Embraer 170/190 family.

BAe 146 to Avro RJ Differences Training: Our differences training course provides optimum familiarization with the Avro RJ85 and RJ100 for BAe 146 pilots. Our instructors here can draw on their vast experi-ence in operating the type with SWISS, which has an extensive Avro RJ fleet. SAT also maintains a state-of-the-art Avro RJ full-flight simulator at its Zurich training centre.

Command Upgrade: SAT offers command upgrade training for the Airbus A320, A330 and A340 family, the BAe 146/Avro RJ, the ERJ 135/145 family, the Embraer 170/190 family and the Legacy 600/650 and Lineage 1000 Executive Jets.

Type Rating Revalidation: With its skilled and passionate instructors – the majority of whom can draw on comprehensive flying experience on the aircraft type(s) concerned – SAT offers revalidation training that extends far beyond the minimum legal requirements. SAT follows a three-year cycle with its recurrent training, which is available for the Airbus A320 family, A330, A340, BAe 146/Avro RJ, Embraer 170/190 family, ERJ 135/145 family and Legacy 600/650 aircraft types.

Renewal: For anyone seeking to renew their type rating, too, SAT is the right address. With each course geared specifically to the trainee’s par-ticular situation, our skilled instructors provide training that will fully cover all the relevant legal requirements. SAT’s renewal training is offered for the Airbus A320, A330 and A340 family, the BAe 146/Avro RJ, the ERJ 135/145 family, the Embraer 170/190 family and the Lega-cy 600/650 and Lineage 1000 Executive Jets.

Language Proficiency: SAT further offers the opportunity to revali-date trainees’ English Language Proficiency. The required Language Proficiency Check can also be combined with a type rating renewal or revalidation session.

Sound knowledge, then extensive practice: that’s how we’ll take you swiftly to your goal

Qualification TrainingInstructor Training (SFI/TRI): Training your cockpit personnel to become type rating instructors (TRI) or synthetic flight instructors (SFI) enhances their value to both your company and themselves. SAT has vast experience in training instructors all over the world, and can tailor the extent of its tuition – which is offered for the Embraer 170/190 family, the ERJ 145, the Airbus A320, A330 and A340 family and the BAe 146/Avro RJ – to each operator’s needs under a specific supervi-sion agreement.

Right-hand-seat Qualification: Our right-hand-seat qualification equips the commander to occupy either cockpit seat, offering greater flexibility in crew rostering terms.

Special TrainingSpecial Airport Training: Some airports (such as Innsbruck or Lon-don City) require particular pilot instruction to ensure safe and efficient flight operations. Here, too, SAT can provide all the relevant facilities and expertise. Special airport training is offered at SAT for the Airbus A320 family, A330, A340 and BAe146/Avro RJ aircraft types.

Operational Training SAT offers additional pilot training courses covering a number of opera-tional scenarios such as:

− Low visibility − Winter Operation − RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minima) − ETOPS ((Extended-range Twin-engine Operational Performance Standards)

− EROPS (Extended Range Operations) − MNPS (Minimum Navigation Performance Specification) − TCAS (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System) − PBN (Performance Based Navigation) − CRM (Crew Ressource Management) − Dangerous Goods − Emergency Safety and Equipment − Practical Fire Fighting

Our special CEFA debriefing toolCEFA-Sim, the latest simulator flight evaluation technology, makes flight training debriefings not only more efficient but more effective, too. The combination of flight training and debriefing forms the core of any successful basic or further pilot training. And here CEFA-Sim offers a time- and cost-effective solution that meets clients’ highest quality expectations. CEFA-Sim enables all the key moments in the training flight just completed to be analyzed and discussed with the instructor, to ensure optimum training benefit.
