Since 1831 Albert Bichot is an independent winery controlled by the 6th
generation of the family Bichot. The Domains are unique covering more than
250 acres all across Burgundy: Domaine Long-Depaquit in Chablis (160 acres),
Domaine du Clos Frantin (18.5 acres) and Château-Gris (8.6 acres) in Nuits-
Saint-Georges, Domaine du Pavillon in Pommard (42 acres), Domaine Adélie in
Mercurey (11 acres), Domaine de Rochegrès in Moulin-à-Vent (8,6 acres). A
distinctive winemaker is dedicated in each region to perfectly respect the
“terroir” specificities. The full control of the winemaking process is also
secured from the grapes up to the bottling.

The “Hôtel du Conseiller du Roy” (Residence of the councilors to the Kings of
France) is located in the heart of Beaune, capital of winemaking in Burgundy.
This emblematic monument is home to the Bouchard Ainé & Fils Cellars, where
the pursuit of excellence in great wines has been perpetuated since 1750.
Viniculteur Vincent Bottreau, whose work entails both close supervision of the
vineyards with his partner growers and of course vinification itself, continues
the centuries old tradition of elegant wine making. Like an orchestra
conductor, the compositions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay reveal the secrets
of the prestigious and complex Burgundy Terroirs.

Château D. de Beaufort does not make fashionable wines, not simple or
woody wines: rather, for 25 years now, he produces wines that are natural, in
the tradition of the great wines of Burgundy that allow full expression of their
terroir. To produce his wines Jean-Jacques Coudray allows the fermentation to
start naturally, in wooden vats, over the course of a few days, without external
yeast or extraction enzymes. The control of temperature is also natural and
made to avoid any sudden fluctuations.
The grapes are selected manually, working from vine to vine: the lees also are
stirred manually and regularly, in the traditional manner, in a way that brings
roundness to both red wines and white wines and liberates the essential
aromas and elegance. Finally, each year Jean-Jacques applies his knowledge to
ensuring that his wines display all the best qualities of the vintage and his
vineyards.

Founded by our parents forty years ago, our Domain grows 28 ha of vineyards
in Petit-Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er cru Vosgros et Chablis 1er cru Vaucoupin.
In 2013, we take over the society and develop the sales in bottles. We are lucky
enough to harvest vineyards wich are more than 30 years old. Thos vineyards
are deeply rooted so that we can produce some really typical Chablis wines,
with mineral and floral flavours.

Clotilde DAVENNE, Oenologist and winegrower, practices the expression of
Terroir through the wine she develops since 1989.
The vineyards that she built for over 20 years now has nearly 18 hectares of
small plots of vines spread over the villages of appellations of Chablis, Saint -
Bris and Irancy.
This patchwork offers a nice variety of grapes : Sauvignon, Aligoté, Pinot Noir,
but also exhibitions and various hills where the centenary vines stand along
the young ones.
The wines from this typical Burgundy mosaic are vinified that for each one
expresses all the specifics of its varied origins.

In 1857, Jules Senard, great grandfather of the current owner created the
original "Corton Clos Des Meix" vineyard. Covering a surface of 6 acres, the
vineyard has been a “Monopole” (under exclusive control) ever since.
Over the years the acquisition of prestigious appellations such as Corton Clos
Du Roi, Corton Bressandes and Corton Paulands have increased the prestige
and excellent reputation of the Comte Senard Estate. These choices, carefully
thought-over and discussed among our family have allowed us to offer an
incomparable selection of the very best wines, spread over 22 acres of prime
vineyards. In 1971, Philippe Senard took over management of the Comte
Senard Estate and personally carried out the vinification. His daughter
Lorraine succeeded him in 2005 with an approach very much inspired from
the previous generations’ respect in keeping the Corton spirit alive.

Domaine de la Jobeline is a family-owned vineyard, created by my grandfather
100 years ago. Its 11ha of land are located in the south of Burgundy, near the
city of Mâcon. The vines are planted on hillsides, and the soii is predominantly
clay and limestone. Low yields, and careful tilling and working on the vines for
a « clean » viticulture. We produce 75% of Chardonnay,10% of Aligoté and 15%
of Gamay.

Grégoire was born in the family Bichot, which is one of the most important
wine merchants in Burgundy. After finished studying wine growing, Grégoire
travelled to Australia and worked for Rosemount Estate in Hunter Valley. As he
had always dreamed of making his own wines, he left his family company in
1995 and created Domaine des Clos.
The Domaine dates back to 1160, when it was acquired by Mathilde the
Duchess of Burgundy. She subsequently donated it to the monks of the Abby
de Tard, a donation that was registered and accepted by Pope Innocent III in
1198. Since then, ownership has been transferred several times until it was
finally acquired by Grégoire. His philosophy prohibits the use of any herbicide
or pesticide, and he works to promote the natural balance of the plant.

After two years doing a technical degree of international trade in Paris,
Françoise FEUILLAT-JUILLOT feels the call of her native Burgundy. She follows
course in oenology at the University of Dijon before settling-down, as
associated, on a domain to Montagny-lès-Buxy. Since 2004, with her two
employees, she manages the whole production, from the vineyard to the
bottle.
The vineyard is located in a real theatre of wines constituted by a majority of
old vineyard, from 30 to 40 years old, producing rich and structured wines.
A “terroir” of exception which offers all its elegance and its freshness to the
great white wine of Montagny.

Domaine Manciat-Poncet is a family property located in Maconnais, south
burgundy, for five generations.
Marie-Pierre MANCIAT-PONCET runs the vinyard of 23ha in the respect of her
terroirs. She produces some of the finest white wines of this area amongst the
appellations Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Mâcon.
Most wines are made in stainless steel tanks to enhance their brightness and
their freshness. The wines from old vines are vinified partly in oak barrels to
highlight their complexity and their authenticity with a touch of tradition.

Our vineyard, located on the heights of the village, is a family property passed
with pride and passion for generations (Javelier-Laurin). Today, Laurent
gradually takes over from Francois as head of the Domaine. Our 7 hectares of

the “climat” of Ruchottes that produces one of the most accomplished Grands

A great wine means first of all great grapes. It was from this simple observation that
the term “Viniculteur” was conceived. A role that unites the skills of both winegrower
and winemaker and which illustrates perfectly the deep commitment of Maison Jean-
Claude Boisset not only in the cellars but also in the vineyards themselves – the real
birthplace of the wines. Grégory Patriat crafts the Jean Claude Boisset wines which
are the fruit of an intense “vinicultural” philosophy; careful parcel selection followed
throughout the year by a constant, close partnership with the growers and
landowners in each vineyard to determine the best harvest dates and finally a non -
interventionist winemaking style in the Ursuline Winery in Nuits St Georges. His
contemporary approach to winemaking is seductive. He won’t hesitate to challenge
conventional thinking if it improves the quality of the wines. This meticulous
approach and unrivaled know-how at every step from the vineyard to the cellars
combined with an uncompromising stance when it comes to quality are what lead to
the small hand crafted cuvées that are one hundred percent Burgundy.

Maison Colin Seguin, wines trading and ageing structure, was created in 2005
by Pierre COLIN, in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of the Burgundian
vineyards. The company vinifies and ages wines of the great Burgundy, from
Chablis down to southern Beaujolais.
This tasting day gives the opportunity to Maison Colin Seguin to introduce
wines of Château de Lachassagne, Castle located in the south of the Burgundy
wine region, owned by the oenologist Olivier BOSSE-PLATIERE, and managed
by Sébastien KARGUL, as well as a range of wines, vinified, aged and bottled
without any addition of sulfite: the Natives.
