Introduction eWebOrganic Is a social enterprise wholly owned by the Hong Kong Councilof Social Service implements the Internet Learning Support Programmesponsored by the Office of the Government Chief InformationOfficer (OGCIO)Our vision is to give studentsHope, Chance & Choice 3. ObjectivesObjectivesThrough the guidance of mentors, mentees can enhance awareness of healthy use of the Internet, formulate personal studyplan and portfolio. During the process, mentors will understand the challenges faced by children from deprived families.Mentees will learn to use the Internet positively under theguidance of their mentors. Mentees are expected to create theirown portfolios by capturing different learning experiences andsocial experiences throughout the mentoring process.Mentors will understand the challenges faced by such children intheir daily lives through communication with mentees. At thesame time, mentors are able to explore the influence ofcomputer and information technology in assisting developmentof the children, bringing hope, chance and choice to theirmentees. 4. Target Group4 () ()Mentees are deprived students studyingprimary 4 to 6. WebOrganic and itsCommunity Partners will match universitymentors and primary student mentees forpersonal development activities.Mentees of WebOrganic MentorshipProgramme come from: families receiving the flat-rate grantfor School-related Expenses underthe Comprehensive Social SecurityAssistance (CSSA) scheme; or families passing the means test forreceiving Full or Half level offinancial assistance from the StudentFinancial Assistance Agency (SFAA) 5.
