新巴及城巴自推出「搭車易」流動軟件應用程式以來，一直致力為乘客提供最新路線資料及即時交通資訊，讓他們旅程更舒適愉快。

「搭車易」流動軟件應用程式（「搭車易」App）深受乘客歡迎，下載使用量數目已突破120萬。「搭車易」App及網頁平均每日處理約15,000項路線資料及5,000個點對點路線搜尋查詢。自從「搭車易」App及網頁推出點對點路線搜尋功能以來，顧客服務專線平均每日接收到的路線查詢電話相應減少，數目下跌近百分之十，大幅節省人力成本並將資源重新調配到其他更有迫切需要的工作範疇上。為提升服務覆蓋層面，「搭車易」App 今年已迅速擴展至視窗手機“Windows Phone”，除支援 Windows Phone 7.5或以上平台，更設有繁體中文、簡體中文及英文三個選擇。另外，兩大制式系統Android 及 iOS的用戶亦可於手機平台中，免費下載新巴城巴App使用。

Since the launch of the Easy Rider App, Citybus and New World First Bus have been dedicated to providing passengers with the latest information on traffic and their bus routes to guarantee a happy journey.

Technologically savvy passengers have embraced the App, which boasts more than 1.2 million downloads. The App and the company website handle 15,000 route information lookup and 5,000 point-to-point route search on a daily basis.

Equipped with comprehensive content and intelligent search, the user-friendly App features functions such as an interactive digital map which shows bus stops and bus routes.

新巴城巴於今年四月於「2013 香港資訊及通訊科技獎」獲頒最佳公共服務應用大獎及最佳公共服務應用﹝電子轉化﹞金獎。作為本港主要的公共巴士營辦商，新巴城巴認為吸引乘客使用巴士服務，和做好車隊管理同樣重要。

「搭車易」App分別包含「顧客查詢巴士服務資訊」與「員工控制日常巴士運作」的流程，方便乘客乘車的同時，亦為員工提供準確資訊。
