Digital content is threatening to overwhelm us. But we keep consuming it and so companies use technology to help businesses deliver a better experience with that digital content. From Netflix to Slideshare, there are vast networks and amazing technologies devoted to enabling the delivery of digital content and awesome experiences. But it's changing. There is an opportunity to combine business processes around creating/publishing digital content and physically delivering it using cloud resources and a little pixie dust that will make business far more efficient and effective. This presentation explores that evolution and the platform that is emerging to meet it. This presentation was originally delivered at the 2013 Content Delivery Summit (May, 2013) in New York. Check out a slide-by-slide walkthrough here: http://blog.limelight.com/2013/05/the-evolution-of-content-delivery/ A recorded version of the presentation will be posted at that location when it's available.
