Front CoverWithin the mise en scene en scene the model takes up most of the frame and is in the centre – centre of attention. She’s also smiling which suggests happiness – gives good connotations to the magazine.

The background is purple not white – goes against the usual codes and conventions of a magazine – more interesting – trendsetters.

Font – simple but big and bold – not too intellectual – easy to understand.

Clothes of the model is quite casual – casual connotations towards the magazine.

The transparent like box in the lower centre makes the writing stand out more.

Contents PageWhite background – makes all the pictures and writing stand out.

Writing is diagonal – not usual codes and conventions – edgy and interesting for the audience.

The ‘welcome’ is in a bigger font which presents a warm feel to the magazine.

The pictures break the words up so the page has more colour.

The numbers are a clear indicator for what page it is on.

The brief description on what the page or section is about gives the reader a nice outline for what the audience should expect to read.

Emma Watson is a famous actress which could attract attention.

Message written from former student about her gap year could attract a teen age audience as they can relate.
