Congestive heart failure: 3 case reportsIn a retrospective study, three women [ages not stated]

developed congestive heart failure following treatmentwith adjuvant trastuzumab for breast cancer [drug detailsnot provided]. Two patients experienced symptomaticheart failure, while the remaining patient developedpersistent decrease in her left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF). After withdrawal of trastuzumab, the two womenwith symptomatic heart failure showed clinicalimprovement with medical therapy, but their LVEF valuesremained below 40%.
