Summer of 2015 in the dreariest light

Page 5: ZINE WHINE

1. remember to do art on the weekend. you enjoy it, it’s fun - there is no time to waste doing shit you don’t like so maybe this could become something, whether you want it to or not

2. college is only for a year. After this you’re supposed to be old and wise and know what you want to do. it’s a thing people say all the time. people always tell the truth

3. remember everything is bullshit don’t listen to anyone, they’re a fucking liar and a thief

4. you get sickly with nerves all the time, irrespective of this pursue what you need, you have an enigma in your head of who you are, i like that enimga, keep her safe

5. i know you think things are vapid and pointless

6. but it’s all apart of the creative process. i know you feel more creative than ever

7. enjoy your time alone, its a time to understand your senses and thoughts, sometimes this can evolve into lonliness which isn’t unsual

8. buying job lot’s of film camera’s is never a waste of cash no matter what others say, that shit is gold nestled on a ebay listing. remember when you open these blissful babies it’ll feel like a lucky dip. who doesn’t like a lucky dip

9. remember the diary entry where you described yourself as a self proclaimed artist and wrote encouraging mentoring messages to wear that long black velvet skirt with those creepers

10. you also expected to have a house by 19

11. you know the crippling pressure of bodyconciousness, don’t plague yourself with it’s deluded

percptions of what your body should look like or how fulfilling you eat, you know you’re not a fuckwit

12. boys who wear hats are very cute, this isn’t a opinion

13. not knowing who you are or what you want to do is a blessing, it gives you time to uncover what you enjoy,

who you enjoy and to explore new hobbies. you could be working in a fucking dump of a fish and chip shop

but find you’re love of stitching in your spare hours. or even that you just really know how to fry an ace chip

14. cheesy chips are made by porcelain angels

15. don’t let people fill your silence, your silence is your property not for the taking. if people ask for your fucking opinion tell them how you feel, it’s irrelevant

to them

16. take shit photographs and spend money on film, try not to lose the used film though, it has made you cry

many atime, it is often a state of despair (don’t do it)

17. friendship’s can become fragile. sometimes it can slip through your fingers

18. it doesn’t mean you’re weak to open up to a friend, a acquaintance, your workmate, expose your soul, what

can they do if your wrapped in your world

19. hold eye contact. i know you feel like you know the man in the kebab shop as your first brother

20. berets look good on everyone as does red nail polish

Thing’s you said you should remember, written

by you, for you
