Foreign Disclosure Officer Following training at the US Central Command (CENTCOM) Regional Joint Intelligence Training Facility (RJITF), was appointed a Designated Disclosure Authority (DDA) by the Commander of Marine Corps Forces Command (MARFORCOM) and provided disclosure support to each geographic combatant command (COCOM). Duties include reviewing CUI and CMI for disclosure or release to Global Core Partners worldwide in support of USMC Security Cooperation events and management of the Foreign Disclosure Management System (FDMS).

How I got here

Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group (2012-Present)Review, evaluate and process classified military information (CMI) and controlled unclassified information (CUI) for release or disclosure to foreign nations in support of the USMC global campaign plan and applicable US State Department foreign military sales or training cases worldwide. Intense focus on establishing partnerships, access, and creating capability or enhancing capacity. Able to partner with Foreign Officers or become an embedded advisor when goals require close coordination.

22d Marine Expeditionary Unit (2009-2012)Manage and direct all disciplines of intelligence collection and supervise analysis in support of the full spectrum of military operations during national emergencies and global crisis. Deploying on extraordinarily short timelines to manage and direct tactical operations during Operation Unified Response (OUR) in Haiti during 2010. Additionally, identify and prioritize ground targets associated with United Nations (UN) kinetic efforts during Operation Unified Protector (OUP) in Libya during 2012. When tasked, provide intelligence support to Combined and Joint Special Operations Forces Task Force (CJSOTF) national tasking efforts globally. (Focal Point)

Drug Enforcement Administration (2005-2009) Collect, analyze and synthesize tolls information in support of high profile criminal drug trafficking organizations under investigation by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF)Study of social and personal pattern of life activities of suspects in order to maximize efficiencies and protect potential victims from future crimes. Experienced in operations authorized by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) and other authorities which govern signals and cyber intelligence.

2d Force Reconnaissance Company (2001-2005)Integrate and direct tactical intelligence activities with US Army Special Operations Forces, US Navy Special Warfare Command and Other Government Agencies in support of Combatant Commander ground special operations. Tactical intelligence collection and analysis in support of the rescue of American POW Jessica Lynch while assigned to TF Tarawa and TF-20. In addition, plan, support and execute conventional combat operations in Husaybah, Hit, Haditha and Fallujah, Iraq 2004 including Operations Steel Curtain, River Sweep and Phantom Fury.

United States Southern Command (1999-2001)Task, leverage and disseminate theater and national intelligence resources in support of distributed and diverse operations in Central and South America including direct support to the Integrated Survey Program (ISP) other Diplomatic Facilities (DIPFAC) locations and the detailed prepositioning of expeditionary warfare support to natural disaster response planning as well as counterterrorism activities. Additionally, supported US Coast Guard (USCG) counter drug missions within the Central American (CENTAM) and Latin American (LATAM) areas of operation as well as blue water interdiction in the Caribbean.

Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron (HMM) 264 (1997-1999)Identify and mitigate surface to air missile (SAM) and anti-aircraft artillery (AAA) systems and associated radar threats to rotary wing aircraft for the conduct of aerial assaults, reconnaissance and raids. Provide close-in fires for the suppression of threat weapon systems during air missions in support of the landing force. Conduct close coordination with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) on identification and countermeasures of various air threat systems worldwide.

3d Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment (1996-1997)Collect, direct and respond to near in threat fire systems which could range ground forces within the operational area. Through a sound understanding of meteorology and topography, estimate and counter the effects of each on the movement and employment of ground based indirect fires. Understand and evaluate the threats of detection posed by counter-battery radars and develop methods to mitigate adversary collection efforts.
