DATA ANALYSIS
DIMENSIONS
windows
According to Neurfert for workroom which are 3.5m or more
higher, the light transmission surface of the window must beat least 0.3 of the outside wall surface.
Since the floor area of one shop = 3m x3m = 9m2
Window area = 0.3 x 9m2 = 2.7m2
Window size = 1.5m x 1.2m
-
7/30/2019 Wendelin Pre.
28/31
DATA ANALYSIS
As stated by Neufert the total width of all the windows must
amount to at least 1/10 of the total width of the wall.
Width of the window = (total width of the wall)1/10
=(34)1/10
= 1.2m
Height of the window breast from the ground 0.9m

Design of dog-legged stair
1) The assumed height of riser is 190mm2) Height of the building is 3.5m
3.5/2=1.75m
3) Number of Risers =1750mm/190mm=9
4) Actual height of rise=1750mm/9=194.4mm
5) Thread =number of riser-1
Thread=9-1=8
6) Going =length of stair case/thread
Going =2250/8=281.3mm
7) Angle of inclination of stair caseTanQ=size of riser/size of going
