Voorwoord Dit is belangrik dat woorde sinvolle sinne bou, en sinne bou weer paragrawe. Woorde in bepaalde sinne moet in konteks geplaas word. Voordat enige taal aangeleer word, is dit belangrik om woorde te ken sodat sinne sinvol gebou kan word. Suid-Sotho in konteks het soms ‘n lang omskrywing om iets te kan sê. Daar bestaan geen lidwoord soos “’n” of “die” nie, woordomskrywing vind dus plaas. Seker uitsprake en dialekte verskil van dorp tot dorp en provinsie tot provinsie.
