2012 marks the one hundredth anniversary of the Eagle Scout award. Only 5 percent of all Boy Scouts ever attain the rank.

These young men have committed themselves to being the very best they can be. They have set a goal for themselves and have obtained that goal. They are the kind of young men that employers like to see apply for their openings.

They are young men who exemplify service and responsibility. They are leaders, both in their youth and in their adulthood.

The Tuscarora Council honored the Scouts who obtained the rank of Eagle Scout in 2012 at Mount Olive College on Sunday, January 27, 2012.

On that Sunday 50 of the 120 Eagle Scouts, seen in the picture below, were recognized with 2012 Eagle Scout Class

Honoree, Mr. Henry Campbell. We are delighted to honor these young men who hold so much promise for the future. The Eagle Class of 2012 is the largest Eagle Class to date for the Tuscarora Council.
