ITW Warehouse Automaon (ITWWA), the global supplier of innovave, fully-integratedwarehousing soluons, announces today the latest improvements to its VTP Pallezers andVPS soware. Already one of the industrys most proven soware plaorms, ITWWAs VPSsoware has been upgraded to enable pallet paerns to be changed in real-me with minimaleort required of employees or the roboc pallezers. In addion, the VTP Pallezers nowoperate up to 40% faster with the same exibility and gentle product handling they are knownfor.

We are always looking for ways to provide customers with the most ecient warehousingsoluons available, says Je Sngel, Vice President of Sales, ITWWA. These upgrades are anexample of that commitment.

The enhanced VPS sowarenow allows users to quickly andeasily change pallet paernswithout stopping producon.Pallet paerns are built withthe graphic user interface in the

PC and users simply input pack-age sizes and number of caseson a pallet. The soware thendisplays the cases on the screenand users can arrange them asnecessary and assign the palletto start that paern. With nointerrupon, the selected palletautomacally starts the newpallet paern. VPS allows for an

innite number of ips or pat-terns- further ensuring greaterproducvity and load integrity.In addion, VPS is simple to useand only requires minutes oftraining. Powering all ITWWAsoluons, from case picking andAS/RS to pallezing, VPS inte-grates seamlessly with all majorWMS and roung soware and

provides web-based, real-mevideo viewing and remote mon-itoring.

The new Terex Tru-Level Tilng Pedestal System

for Terex SC and HRM Series aerial devices allows

for operaon on slopes up to 20 degrees to ac-

commodate the need for real world truck posi-

oning. This new Terex system decreases stress on

the rotaon gearbox when rotang up the hill,

decreases set-up me because it eliminates the

need to crib the outriggers and does not limit

boom operaon or load charts.

Other benets of our unique Tru-Level Tilng

Pedestal System include that it keeps the work

plaorm level longitudinally, it boasts safety and

less fague for the operator having to maintain

balance, the aerial device is able to operate in its

designed conguraon and the cylinders are rated

to independently support the rated load.

Another aspect of the Terex Tru-Level Tilng Ped-estal System is the ancipated increase in service

life of the rotaon system. When aerial devices

operate on a slope, the rotaon system oen

works harder, especially while rotang against the

slope, compared to operang on level ground.

This Terex system will save both service me and

costs thanks to easier access to the collector block

and rotaon bearing bolts, as well as decreased

stress on the rotaon gearbox during uphill work.

The Tru-Level Pedestal System allows operators

to save me during the set-up process by being

able to situate the truck on terrain that is outside

of the recommended degree of slope without

having to either dig out or build up for proper

leveling, says Jon Promersberger, Terex project

engineer. And its easy to use operators simply

need to park, set the truck and acvate.

To eecvely use an aerial device equipped with

the Terex Tru-Level Pedestal System, operators

need to posion the front of the truck poinng

directly downhill, and then set the parking brake

and place wheel chocks on all wheels. Next,

operators should release the parking brake to

allow the chassis to roll into the wheel chocks and

then reset the parking brake and engage the PTO.

Note, operators must verify that they are operat-

ing on a side slope of ve degrees or less. Oncethe slope is established, use the lower controls to

raise the upper boom about two feet, and then

lt the Tru-Level pedestal to level posion front to

back (longitudinally) using the indicator mounted

on the pedestal. Finally, operators will lower the

upper boom to the basket rest or set plaorm for

ground access, select the upper controls and then

safely enter the basket and secure their safety

harness.

gineered with a high-strength steel bearing plate,

heavy-duty hinge points, dual lt cylinders and

holding valves on each lt cylinder for outstanding

durability and performance.
