On behalf of Hội Đồng Huynh Trưởng, I would like to say thank you for your participation in helping to create a wonderful environment for this calendar year 2012-2013. With your weekly presence, your smile, and your friendship, we were able to learn and understand more about God’s love in our

life as well as be able to unite in Christ. To các em Ấu Nhi, your endless energy is a continuous blessing; remember to always listen to your parents and teachers. To các em Thiếu Nhi, your

uniqueness is your ability to smile, even on days that were filled with lesson plans….and no donuts. Nghĩa Sĩ, the spirit of charity, generosity, and friendship is the manifestation of your heart; you’ve

shown it through winning the Penny War, to always being the loudest group in singing of God’s love. Hiệp Sĩ, you have been serving God whole-heartedly through your charity work (Kitchen Duty) and

being a Bigger Brother/Sister to other Đoàn Sinh in our Đoàn; remember to always keep God in your prayers and fulfill your obligations to your family, at school, at work, and in society.

To my beloved Đominico Savio TNTT Family,

Thank you for the trust that you have placed in us as your child’s teacher. Thank you for bringing them weekly to us as they have brought a lot of joy and happiness to each and every Huynh Trưởng/Hiệp Sĩ 18+ in our Đoàn. Thank you for your continual and future support in Đoàn Đominico Savio.

Thank you for your dedication, prayers, and time that you have put in for Đoàn this year and future upcoming years. Together, we will always be united in order to maintain our purpose, foundation,

ideals, and principles no matter what challenges are ahead of us.

To the wonderful parents, Thank you so much for supporting Ấu Nhi throughout the year and dedicating your time to bring các em

to Ấu Nhi every Sunday. Summer is nearing and TNTT is ending for the year. However, we will continue to keep our spirit with God and live a Eucharistic Day. Please support các em by praying with them and continue to guide them to be closer to God through songs and prayers. I hope that you will

continue to help các em strengthen their spiritual life by reading the Bible and Sunday readings to them. Have a wonderful summer and I can’t wait to see your child’s bright faces again when Thiếu Nhi resumes

in September.

To my ever growing Seedlings,Thiếu Nhi is coming to an end and we will start our summer break. I know that you will be sad now that we won’t be able to meet every Sunday and that you are looking forward to Thiếu Nhi starting again in September. I am going to miss each and every one of you and I will pray and hope that you will have a safe summer. For the summer, I want all of you to continue to pray and talk to God every single day.

You can also sing to him! I know He would love to hear your angelic voices. Also, read the Bible to learn more about how much He loves us. Remember to always thank Him for everything that you do. Have a

wonderful summer and be safe! Remember, God is always by your side!

First off, I want to thank the parents for their support of TNTT. I am grateful that you have put so much trust into the work that we Huynh Trưởng do. We hope that we have earned and kept that trust. I also thank you for allowing your children to participate in Thiếu Nhi. Though we may not see the positive effects immediately, I can confidently say that your child’s presence here will help him/her develop invaluable cognitive as well as social

skills. We hope that you’ll continue to support us in the best way you can. Thank you once again.

I know you would agree with me when I say, “it has been a rough year.” We’ve had many success and disappointments; however, the only thing that matters to me is that you have had some memorable experiences. In honesty, I was very excited to teach many of the lessons this year; sadly, due to time and schedule conflicts we were not able to share some interesting knowledge with you. Of the lessons we did present, I truly hope that

each one of you have taken at least one thing and applied it to your life. You know now that we only want to teach you things you can use and practice. I pray that you will continue, like you do in loving God as well as

your brothers and sisters in Christ. I also wanted to thank you for an eventful, trying, fun-filled, wonderful year. We played games, we learned to love God and each other more, we laughed, and we contributed to our

community. Thank you all for the money you’ve donated and soda cans you’ve collected for the “Make a Wish Foundation.” It is sad to see the year come to an end but I remind myself that a new, and even better year will start before we know it. I am glad to be there when you attended you DT/DP training. I was proud to see your

beautiful Tết performance. And I am content that I got to spend every Sunday with you. I’ll see you all next semester!

Hello to all the Nghĩa Sĩ. Another year of Thiếu Nhi has come to an end. Us, Huynh Trưởng would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you that continue to show up

every Sunday, bright and early, and be the best that you can be in learning the lessons and participating in all the games and activities we’ve prepared. Thank you for giving us a sense

purpose, fulfillment and pride. We are here because of our dedication to each and everyone of you. We love being a part of your lives and growing with you. All of us Huynh Trưởng, are

very proud of those who continue to be a rising star in representing for our ngành and đoàn. In the end, your success is the best reward for us. Hope each one of you will inspire each other to work harder so in the near future you can become a Huynh Trưởng. Have a fun and safe

summer break. Looking forward to see all your faces back in the fall.

The year has finally come to an end, and us Huynh Trưởng are extremely sad that we cannot see your children faces each week during sinh hoạt. Within the past year, các em

Hiệp Sĩ had reviewed Nghiêm Tập, Chuyên Môn and Thánh Thể. Each month, các em put on small shows like cổ tích Việt Nam and different methods of how to sống ngày Thánh Thể for các em Ấu Nhi. This year, we emphasized on unity in ngành Hiệp, therefore, they had a lot of activities where they worked together with their friends in ngành Hiệp along with other ngành. Through these activities, we hoped that they continue on with Thiếu Nhi and have a

calling to become future Huynh Trưởng for đoàn. May God continue to watch over your family and to lead các em onto the right paths in

becoming a better Catholic. And we will see their lovely faces in September!

Vào ngày 3/8 - 10/2013, Đoàn Đominico Savio chúng ta đã có 8 em Hiệp Sĩ đã tham dự trại huấn luyện cấp 1 Về Đất Hứa (VDH) 18 để chuẩn bị cho các em bắt đầu với đời sống Huynh Trưởng. Trại VDH có tất cả các huấn luyện viên đến từ Trung Ương, Miền Tây Nam cũng như Liên Đoàn Ra Khơi. Xin chúc mừng đến các em Hiệp Sĩ và cũng như đoàn của chúng ta sẽ có những Huynh Trưởng mới, nguyện xin Chúa Thánh Thần luôn soi sáng các Huynh Trưởng trên con đường

phục vụ của mình.

Our birthday is November 5, 1995. We were presented in front of our church on this special day.

Our first chaplain for our đoàn was Father Paul Trần.

Our badge represents the different ngành in our đoàn. The mountain represents our parish: The Vietnamese Martyrs. The cactus with three branches stands for the 3 divisions. The sun is symbolic for the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. And it was approved on September of 2005 by Father Joseph Nguyễn.This year, we have a total of 5 Trợ Tá, 32 Huynh Trưởng, and 68 Đoàn Sinh. And from those 68 Đoàn Sinh, 17 are Ấu Nhi, 17 are Thiếu Nhi, 19 are Nghĩa Sĩ, and 15 are Hiệp Sĩ.

Our patron saint is Saint Dominico Savio.
