Boş olan yerlere is veya are koyunuz

Olumsuz yaparken is veya are sözcüklerinden sonra not ilave edilir.

i.e. There is a key in the box. Kutuda bir anahtar var.

"There is / there are" Türkçe'de "var" kelimesinin karşılığıdır. Tekiller ve sayılamayan isimler için "there is", çoğullar içinse "there are" kullanılır.

SINGULAR (Tekil ve sayılamayanlar)

There is a television in the classroom. (Sınıfta bir televizyon var.)

There is a football match on TV tonight. (Bu gece televizyonda bir futbol karşılaşması var.)
