As editor, Im excited to tell you about the

changes we have in store for The Electric Current.

Weve recently launched a multi-phase plan to

drastically improve the design, organization, contentand delivery of our magazine, online and in print. In

other words, were fixing everything.

The first stage of this, already completed,

comprised of an initial Website redesign. This is just

the beginning, and there is more on the way, including

the development of exclusive online content with how-

to videos and instructional/ educational offerings.

Were still a ways out from that, but we think the

change compared to the original site (which was

admittedly an afterthought a temporary site we put

up and never got around to replacing), is a much-

needed improvement.

tracker systems that were available in the past.

But one day I was asked for a quote from

a customer on a PV system to meet the electricity

needs of their home. I and another local installer

had come up with the same number. To our

surprise,wewereout-pricedbythedualaxis

we could compete.

What was this tracker? How was it such

A new series of 3-in-1 leveling mountsfrom Advanced Antivibration Components(AAC) are designed to dampen shock andvibration, provide leveling, and offer positionmobility for packaging machinery applications.Identied as the V10Z44MCM... Series, theyincorporate a moveable mount in which therubber mount is incorporated with a rotatingball. They allow movement of machines andgive excellent vibration-free installations. Theisolator is made of oil-resistant rubber. Theball and handle are made of steel. The

maximum recommended load of the2 isolators in the series ranges from200 kgf to 600 kgf (441 lbf to 1323lbf). The diameter of the unit baseranges from 100 mm to 140 mm (3.9to 5.5). To operate: turn the spokedwheel clockwise to lift the rubbermount. The steel ball then allows freemovement.
