The BA/MA Program• Only 8 candidates selected to attend SAIS
• Expectation to complete program in 5 consecutive years
• Candidates chosen for program during sophomore year at Hopkins
• Spend junior year taking relevant Hopkins courses and completing undergraduate requirements
• Receive BA after first year of graduate study and MA after the second year at SAIS; students attend graduation ceremony for their BA after year four, except at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center
• Participate in the same rigorous academic program; study with the same professors, interact on the same basis as everyone else with student body; fulfill same graduation requirements.
Junior Year / Semester Abroad Program
• Candidates selected to attend SAIS Europe campus in Bologna, Italy during junior year
• Not guaranteed admission to SAIS in the future, but if admitted will receive advanced standing for time spent in Bologna
• Flexibility in course selection . Credits will come back for international studies majors
• Housing is guaranteed

• Direct admission into SAIS for graduating seniors • Admissions Requirements:
• Cumulative GPA of 3.33 • HNC Certificate and MAIS: Stamp Test (waive the test fee)• MIEF
• One semester of college calculus with a B or higher or AP Calculus AB or BC score of 4 or higher
• Statistics with a B or higher• Intermediate Microeconomics and Intermediate Macroeconomics
with a B or higher (calculus requirement waived if met this requirement at JHU)
• Application material include:• On-line application • Unofficial JHU transcript• Resume
• February 1, 2020 - Application Deadline• Application and matriculation (if admitted) fee will be waived
