    1.Survival technologies:

    Green Revolution: increasing the yield per hectare of land byusing hybrid, high-yielding varieties of seeds.India developed into a country that fed itself. Under the aegis ofIndian Council of Agricultural Research, more than 2300 high

    yielding, hybrid varieties of food grains and cash crops have beendeveloped. The achievements have been substantial by all meansAfter China, India is only the second country in the world todevelop its very own hybrid rice.
