Operacijo delno financira Evropska unija iz Evropskega socialnega sklada ter Ministrstvo za izobraževanje, znanost, kul turo in šport. Operacija se izvaja v okviru Operativnega programa razvoja človeških virov v obdobju 2007-2013, razvojne prioritete: Razvoj človeških virov in vseživljenjsko učenje; prednostne usmeritve: Izboljšanje kakovosti in učinkovitosti
sistemov izobraževanja in usposabljanja.

SECONDARY SCHOOL OF TECHNICAL PROFESSIONS ŠIŠKA
The school used to be called “Litostroj”
• Founded in 1947 as an Industrial School of Metalwork
46 hours of classes per week, 55 students
• Today: 658 students (3 of them are girls)
• 43 teachers, one of us comes from Mauritius

The programmes today:
• Mechatronics Technician, 4 years
• Electrical Engineer, 3+2
• Computer Engineer, 3+2
SŠTS Šiškathe only one in this region educates for these professions
• The school used to be closely connected with the factory Litostroj (PUD)
• Iceland: Technical College of Reykjavik
