• OSC was set up in 2003 as a closed company wholly owned by the Government of the Sultanate of Oman through:

– Ministry of Finance (MOF)– Oman Oil Company (OOC)

ShareholdersThe Ministry of Finance (80%)

The Ministry of Finance executes and monitors financial policies of the state. It also acts as an administrative apparatus of all revenues and expenses and ensure all financial targets are met.

Oman Oil Company S.A.O.C (20%)

Established in 1992, Oman Oil Company (OOC) is a commercial company fully owned by the government of the Sultanate of Oman. The aim of the company is to provide the government with a medium to pursue investment opportunities in the energy sector in as well as outside the Sultanate of Oman.
