<Background>• Ricoh’s strength is a capability to provide integrated meeting room solution package with Ricoh

products to make customer’s work and meeting environment productive and collaborative. • With meeting room solution proposal, sales reps start to talk about customer value instead of

product by product specification and price comparison, for instance, “meeting can be started anytime anywhere without preparation”

• We expect meeting room solution package is sold by monthly charge that drives shift from Capex to Opex model so that customers only concern about monthly expense but not large investment.

• VC sales has been increasing every year and we started to penetrate to Global and MA customers. Global and MA require customized proposal and takes longer time to close. To accelerate VC sale, we must also target mid size customers for quicker deal close where meeting room solution package approach fits.
