Creative Worship Space for Families Available in the Chapel

Families are invited to worship together through art and play on our new rug in the chapel during any part of the service. Families should stay with their children as this area is not staffed. All are welcome to sit in the chapel; please be understanding whenever our youngest members make a joyful noise.

Seeking Volunteers To Support

Children’s Worship Space

We are seeking volunteers to help with weekly cleaning of toys and occasional set up of the

Children’s Worship rug in the chapel. Volunteers would be responsible for taking toys home right

after the 11:15 a.m. service to put into their washing machine or dish washer and bringing back during the week or the next Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. For toys that cannot be washed in a dish washer (books, toys made of wood) the volunteer would

be in charge of wiping them down with Lysol wipes. Volunteers will also occasionally be asked to help with set up of the rug on Sunday mornings. The

estimated time commitment of this project would be less than an hour a month. We are looking for 4–5 volunteers to take one Sunday a month. For more

information or to volunteer please contact Kelly Phelan at [email protected].

Keeping Watch With Christ:

Maundy Thursday—Good Friday Vigil

It is a tradition the night between Maundy Thursday and Good Friday to keep watch in hour-long shifts remembering Jesus’ time in Gethsemane and his plea to his disciples to “stay awake with me even one hour.” Participants spend one hour (or more) to meditate, pray and remain with Christ’s Presence as Peter, James, and John were asked to do. The one hour watches are in the chapel beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Maundy Thursday through 6:00 a.m. on Good Friday. Meditation resources will be available. The labyrinth will be available. If you wish to offer an hour for silence and prayer at the Vigil, please contact Ana Camacho 626.583.2737 [email protected].

Donations Needed for ASC Food Ministry

Every Monday 70 to 110 low-income and homeless men, women, and children come to All Saints to receive food, toiletries, clothing, and social service referrals. Donations are gratefully received each Sunday, in the basket on the lawn by the “Cookie Table” or in the main office on weekdays. Items needed include: deodorant, razors, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, underwear, and t-shirts (all toiletry items are preferred in travel size). Information = Ada Ramirez at 626.583.2734 or [email protected].

20/30s Listening Session

Sunday, Apr. 8, 12:30–1:30 p.m. in the OCC Conference Room. 20/30s — we want to hear from you! Please come to the 20/30s Listening Session sponsored by the Congregational Development Committee. Over $33,000 in cash donations, and close to $14,000 in goods sold, benefited local, national and international causes and communities. Heartfelt thanks to all!
