In lega di alluminio anodizzato, studiati per con-tenere il peso ed aumentare la rigidità. Il sistema di salita/discesa è equilibrato in quan-to è realizzato con una coppia di pistoni con steli interni protetti. Le teste si sollevano e si abbassano in frazioni di secondo, con sollevamento sempre minimo rispetto la superficie della lastra, assicurando la perfetta lucidatura anche dei bordi delle lastre ad elevata velocità di lavoro.In corrispondenza di ogni singola testa si trova il regolatore della pressione di lavoro, visualizzata su indicatore analogico (a richiesta opzionali vengono fornite le valvole proporzionali per la gestione dinamica ed automatica delle pressioni di lavoro di tutte le teste dal PC).

Made of anodized aluminium alloy, they are specially designed for weight reduction and stiffness increase.The raising-lowering system is perfectly balan-ced thanks to a pair of pistons with protected internal rods.Heads raise and lower in a flash, with a minimal lifting from the slab surface, therefore slab edges are perfectly polished and the operating speed is increased.Each head is equipped with a pressure regulator displaying the operating pressure on an analo-gue display (upon request, the machine can be supplied with metering valves for the PC dyna-mic and automatic management of the operating pressure of all the heads).

LevibretonLa trave in acciaio elettrosaldato ha uno speciale disegno a profilo rettangolare chiuso per contenere il peso ed aumentare la rigidità. In particolare la trave non deve essere indebolita forandola per permettere il passaggio dei gruppi leviganti, che sono invece fissati ad essa e contribuiscono ad aumentarne la resistenza a flessione. Il sistema trave/mandrini risulta così eccezionalmente dinamico e contemporaneamente rigido e consente di ottenere rampe di accelerazione/decelerazione rapide.

The arc-welded steel beam has a special box-type section design for weight reduction and stiffness increase. In particular, the beam is not drilled (and therefore weakened) to insert the honing units, which are fixed to the beam and contribute to increase its flexural strength. The spindle/beam assembly is therefore very dynamic yet rigid and enables fast acceleration/deceleration ramps.

La trasmissione del moto della trave avviene a mezzo di due sistemi pignone/cremagliera, azionati da due motoriduttori fissati alle estremità della stessa e sincronizzati meccanicamente. I motoriduttori sono azionati da due motori Brushless, comandati da speciali azionamenti, che consentono un moto sinusoidale della trave, nonché di mantenere costante il numero di battute della trave anche al variare della larghezza delle lastre, il tutto per garantire una migliore qualità ed uniformità di lucidatura su tutta la superficie della lastra, bordi compresi. Il sistema, affidabilissimo e sperimentato, assicura un’alta dinamica di movi-mento senza stressare gli organi meccanici. La velocità di lavoro della trave arriva a 70 m/min. Nelle fasi di rallentamento della traslazione della trave, grazie all’impiego di “azionamenti a recupero di energia”, si genera un riversamento in rete dell’energia elettrica generata dalla frenata, con conseguente risparmio energetico.

The beam is actuated by two rack and pinion systems driven by two gearmotors, which are fixed at each end of the beam and are mechanically synchronized. The gearmotors are driven by two brushless motors that are controlled by special drives enabling either a sine movement of the beam or to keep the number of the beam strokes constant even when the slab width changes; this ensures a better polish quality and uniformity on the whole surface of the slab, edges included. The system, reliable and well-tried, guarantees highly dynamic movements without stressing the mechanical components. The beam wor-king speed reaches 70 m/min. During the beam motion slowing down, the energy generated by the braking is transferred to the electrical grid thanks to “energy recovery” drives: this means energy saving.

Un lettore a barriera fotoelettrica rileva la forma delle lastre, con riso-luzione di 10x10 mm, mentre un sensore sonar ne rileva lo spessore. Il sistema consente di processare anche lastre con superficie lucida (come lastre già lucidate o resinate). Il sistema comanda l’intervento automatico delle teste, l’autoadegua-mento della corsa della trave alla larghezza delle lastre, ed il posizio-namento automatico delle barriere antispruzzo/fonoassorbenti frontali ai mandrini, in funzione dello spessore delle lastre.

A photoelectric barrier reader detects the slab shape with 10x10 mm resolution, while a sonar reader senses its thickness. This system enables to process even slabs with a polished surface (such as already polished or resin-treated slabs).The system controls the automatic head lifting-lowering, ensures the self-adjustment of the beam travel to the slab width and guarantees that the front, anti-splash and sound-deadening barriers are positioned automatically to match the slab thickness.

Il sistema esegue il controllo continuo del consumo di abrasivo di ogni singola testa, e invia messaggi video e di preallarme prima dell’esaurimento completo dell’utensile.Garantisce inoltre il sollevamento minimo delle teste all’entrata/uscita delle lastre, e la successiva loro rapida discesa, consenten-do così una migliore lucidatura dei bordi e una maggiore velocità di lavoro.

This system performs the continuous monitoring of the abrasive wear of each single head, with video advice notes and warning signals before tools are completely worn out.It also guarantees the minimal lifting of the heads at the forepart and rear end of the slab and their subsequent rapid descent, thus ensuring a better polishing of the edges and a higher operating speed.

L’adduzione idrica alle teste avviene tramite una tubazione comune di grosso diametro in PVC, rigidamente fissata poste-riormente ai mandrini e collegata ai mandrini stessi a mezzo di tubi flessibili in gomma.Un ingegnoso sistema devia l’acqua all’esterno del corpo mandrino in caso di sovralimentazione o di otturazione dei condotti per evitare così che l’acqua in eccesso possa andare a contatto con gli organi interni del corpo mandrino.

Water is supplied to the heads by common, large-diameter, PVC piping that is fixed behind the spindles and connected by flexible, rubber pipes.An ingenious system diverts water outside the spindle casing in the event of overflowing or clogging of the ducts, thus preventing excess water from coming into contact with the spindle internal components.

L’impianto elettrico/elettronico è cablato con la tecnica “bus di campo” che attraverso un unico cavo porta tutti i segnali dal PC alle varie centraline poste a bordo macchina, con trasmissione digitale dei segnali.La trasmissione dei segnali è sicura e l’individuazione di eventuali guasti è molto semplificata.

Il collegamento elettrico tra la parte fissa della macchina e la trave mobile è realizzato mediante un sistema a guaine parallele, garan-zia di sicurezza e di lunga durata dei cavi.Tutte le apparecchiature elettriche/elettroniche compreso il PC sono di primari produttori mondiali, per cui l’utilizzatore è libero di ottenere assistenza tecnica e ricambi anche direttamente dal produttore praticamente in ogni parte del mondo.

The electric and electronic plant is wired with the “field-bus” technique that transmits digitally, through a single cable, all the PC signals to the different control units installed on the machine.Signal transmission is safe and identification of possible failures is greatly simplified.

LevibretonUna barriera in gomma in uscita provvede a rimuovere l’ac-qua dalla superficie delle lastre. Un mandrino solidale alla trave a comando pneumatico, dotato di spazzola, provvede alla pulizia delle lastre dopo la lucidatura intervenendo automaticamente al passaggio di ogni lastra.

A rubber wiper fixed at the back of the machine removes water from the slab surface. A pneumatically controlled spindle, integral with the beam and equipped with a brush, cleans the slabs once they are polished.The spindle is raised and lowered automatically each time a slab passes through.

In posizione alta ergonomica e sicura, in corrispondenza di ogni singolo mandrino si trova il regolatore della pressione di lavoro, visualizzata su manometro analogico (a richiesta opzionali vengono forniti i selettori manuali di sollevamento/abbassamento per ogni singola testa).I pannelli frontali scorrevoli di protezione antinfortunistica e fonoassorbenti sono realizzati con una struttura sandwich in ABS e poliuretano. Protezioni paraspruzzi fonoassorbenti con struttura sandwich in acciaio inox sono installate sulla trave davanti alle teste a “livello” della lastra, ed hanno posizionamento verticale motorizzato automatico per adattarsi allo spessore delle lastre e sollevarsi per il cambio abrasivo.

A pressure regulator is installed on each single spindle in an high, ergonomic and safe position. Pressure is displayed on an analogue pressure gauge (upon request, manual selectors for lifting/lowe-ring each single head can be supplied).The frontal, sliding panels for accident-prevention and sound-deadening have a sandwich-like structure and are made of ABS and polyurethane.Sound-deadening splash guards with a stainless steel sandwich-type structure are installed on the beam, in front of the heads, on the same level of the heads. Their positioning is motorized, vertical and automatic in order to match the slab thickness and lift each time the abrasives need to be changed.

• option to store (and recall) different work programs for various types of material;

• conveyor speed and synchronism of the whole line, including loaders and connection roller conveyors;

• beam movement (speed, customized programming of the acce-leration and deceleration ramps);

• back-slipping correction on the anti-skid conveyor of badly-sawn or bent slabs, for both single slabs and packs of slabs;

Il PC consente di raccogliere ed organizzare i dati di produzione e di consumo, come ad esempio:

• statistiche di produzione (metri quadrati prodotti parziali, per commessa, per turno, progressivi, totali);

• statistiche di consumo (metri quadrati prodotti con l’utensile in lavoro, metri quadrati prodotti con l’ultimo utensile sostituito...);

• indice di disponibilità della macchina (tempo macchina accesa, tempo macchina in lavoro, tempo macchina in allarme...);

• statistiche degli allarmi intervenuti;

• programmazione della manutenzione con allarme in video alla scadenza degli intervalli di manutenzione preventiva.

The PC allows to gather and organize statistical data relating to production and consumption, such as:

• production statistics (square metres produced on partial periods, per job order, per shift, progressive or total quantities);

• tool wear statistics (square metres produced with the operating tool, square metres produced with the last replaced tool, etc.);

• diagnostics of machine conditions (time of: machine turned on, machine operating, machine with alarms turned on, etc.);
