Ifyou are responsible for the maintenance of the concerned retaining wall. we s缸'ongty recommend曲at you and your co-licensees should arrange to c訂可 out the recommended urgent maintenance works as soon品 possible.

Apart 企om 由e subject feature. it is also important for you to arrange regular maintenance of otherslopes/retaining walls within or adjacent to your Licence Area for which you have responsibility under theLicence agreement. The lack of maintenance of slopes 個drem 姐姐g walls is a main con甘ibutory 臼.ctor to manylandslides in Hong Kong.

Ingeneral.slope maintenance inspections can be divided into the following categories:-

(a) Routine Maintenance Inspections ，which can be carried out adequately by any responsibleperson with no professional geotechnical knowledge. As a minimum ，these should be carriedout once every ye也

(b)Engineer Inspections for Maintenance ， which should be carried out by aprofessionally-qualified geotechnical engineer. As an absolute minimum. an EngineerInspec討on for Maintenance should be conducted once eve可 five ye紅s，or more frequentlywhere recommended by the designer ofthe slope/retaining wall.

Besides the maintenance works mentioned above，if you wish to c叮可 out other building worksN ors訂eet works". you should appoint an authorized person to submit a proposal to the Buildings Department forapproval prior to the commencement of such works.

To 部 sist licensees to mainta扭曲eir slopes and retaining waIJs，the Geotechnical En斟neering Officeh品 produced an information leaflet "KEEP YOUR SLOPES SAFE" and the "LA¥MAN'S GUIDE TO SLOPEMA的TENANCE" which provide useful advice on slope maintenance. Inaddition ，由e Geo臼chnicalEngineering Office h的 also produced 曲e "LA¥MANS GUIDE TO LANDSCAPE TREAT 阻旦河T OFSLOPES AND RETAlNlNG WALLS" which gives general guidelines to slope owners on landscape treatmentfor improving the appearan 臼 of man-made slopes and retaining walls. 進行下列維修工程:

1.修革砌石牆的勾雄;2. 清除砌石牆表面的雜草。

持牌人有責任推修其牌照區域範圍內的斜坡及擋土牆。根攝牌照文件所列條款，持牌人還可能要負責維修其牌照區成範圍以外的地都斜坡及擋土牆。因此，請你仔細查閱牌照文件及團則，以嘻定有關擋土牆的維修責任。但你有疑問，可向律師徵詢意見。香港特別行政區政府

已對斜坡紀錄冊內的斜垃及擋土牆，完成有系統的維修責任鑑辨。當鑑辨結果已公開于市民免費查閱。你可到在北角渣華道 333 號北角政府合署一樓的斜坡維修責任信息中心，或通過互聯網(http://www.slope.landsd.gov.hk/smrisI J 進入「斜坡維修責任信息系統 J 直詢有關斜坡的維修責任(聯絡電話: 2231 3333) 。

若你頌負責維修有關擋土牆，本處極力建議你與你的共同持牌人，盡快安排進行上

述維修工程。

此外，持牌人訟須安排定期維修所負責的斜坡/擋土牆。斜坡及擋主牆失修，是導致

本港多宗山泥傾瀉的主要原因。

一般而言，斜坡維修檢查可分為下列兩個類別:

(a) 例行維修轍宜追捕被查可由沒具備專業岩土知識的人員進行。制行維修檢查應至少每

年進行一次。

(b) 工程師維修輸查迫類檢查處由合符香港專業資格的土力工程師進行。工程師維修槍查處至少每

五年進行一次;或按設計工程師所作的建議進行更頻密的檢查。

除上述維修工程外，如你想進行其它建築工程#或樹道工程#在工程未勤工前，必須僱用認可人士向屋宇署提交建議批扭。
