Gait

Gait, which is the medical term of “Walking” or “Walk-ing Pattern”, is one of Physical therapy’s main special-

ties which is analyzed and assessed by either using the old method, which is observation, or by using the newly hi-tech labs. Gait patterns are different from age group to another; of course we cannot compare the gait pattern of a child to an old person. But why Physical therapists are so interested in “Gait patterns” and have it as a specialty in Physical therapy?

Simply to answer that question; any joint affected in the human body will negatively affect the gait pattern of that person. And when I say any, I include the torso and the upper body as well. But most of the cases come from the lower body. So since there are a lot of gait abnormalities which comes with the injuries, a lot of Physical therapists became interested in analyzing Gait and how to treat it and train it. With the huge knowledge of Gait, and the amount of researches done on it; it became a whole specialty in physical therapy.

To simply describe the normal gait pattern of a person, it simply starts when you first hit your heel on the ground then your forefoot goes down on the ground until your toes hits the ground too. Then your leg slide on top of your ankle and passes through your forefoot region and your foot initi-ates the take off with the help of your toes. All this happens in coordination with your other leg, and with accurate tim-

uniQue HeaLThBy Hamad D. Al-Othman - Physical [email protected]

ing. Simply by changing the timing of this process will af-fect your whole gait pattern.

Also don’t forget that all your big and small joints from above the ankle to your back are working together in a very beautiful way, with precise mechanisms, to give you your gait pattern accurately.

Now what happens when one of the joints, muscles, or liga-ments is injured? The whole gait pattern will be affected and the above joints will try to fix that error by either working in a different pattern, or increase the normal load on them; and that will end up in more injuries to the above joints. Even if one of your toes is injured, the whole gait pattern will be affected from toe to your back.

If you’ve got an abnormal gait pattern, or at least you think it’s different from before and it’s not the gait you’re used with. What can you do? And how can you fix it?

You should visit a physical therapist who is specialized in gait assessment, and get your gait accurately assessed to de-fine the problem if it’s a join, muscle, ligament, or a differ-ent thing. If it’s you recently acquired it then there is a big chance that it will heal fully. But if it’s from a road traffic ac-cident, then the chances are less to heal it fully. But before jumping into conclusions by yourself, always visit a Physical therapist to give you a proper advise.

Life is more than that

We all heard of “Engleze im3arab” but there is a new thing

just came out “3raabi imgalaz” like when you talk to them

in the internet they say “هاو ار يو؟” if they want to ask how old are

you ”ار يو؟ .”هاو اولد

Many people talk on the internet these days, there are some girl’s

wants to meet people through the internet because she doesn’t

want the guys fallow her around in the street. We all heard of “

7ob men awal nathra” but I didn’t heard of “ 7ob men awal kelma”

when she talks to him he says “it9agen ana irtee7tleech” and she

says why ? “ madre islobich bel kalam jethabni” but this is all after

he asks her asl? Where do you live? And I don’t know why all girls

live in Surra and Qurtoba LIERS! Then she thinks that she’s really

different but she’s not. After that he asks her for her email from

whatever chat room there in to the next level “MSN” so they can

talk whenever they want. Then he asks her “ intay 7elwa?” like

what she will answer YES? But unfortunately most girls say yes.

Then he becomes more curies he wants to see her picture then she

shows him and he then tells her I want your number.

Most girls wake up in the morning just for one reason and that

reason is for waking up for a guy or finding a guy .. sorry to say

this but life is more than that. Life is precious and it will be easy if

you simple up the facts and try not to push yourself very hard, Stop

complaining from the things you don’t have and start thanking god

for the things you have. Look into yourself for passion interesting

things that will draw your life. What happened to a pure “Girls

Nights Out”? Just dress up and have some fun and forget about all

your worries for once in a while, have some fun LAUGH YOUR

HEAD OFF!. Have a massage for a change to refresh you. And if

you feel sad don’t be at home and cry have a bath dress up put

your makeup on and GO OUT! have some fun because when you

dress up and look pretty it reflects you from the inside, Psychology

speaking it will make you feel better just try it! Because you’re

the only one will cheer yourself up and nobody will feel exactly

what you feeling except you so BE STRONG!! The most powerful

women is that who give for others the same as she gives herself so

LOVE YOUR SELF before you love others and do what you love to

love what you do…Because this is you!

Media Misinterprets Islam

Every single day we watch or hear at the news “the Muslim Terrorist group or the Jihad terrorist group”.

Why Islam is always related to terrorism? Till when we will keep hearing those things? Watch our brothers and sisters getting killed! Watch them humiliating Islam and our prophet. Did we really become that weak to let those things pass like nothing happened?

Why when a Muslim defend his country, his family, his lands they call him a terrorist while when an Israeli kills 100’s of people no one talks? Is it a crime to defend our lands, our families?! Is the Muslim blood become that cheap?

Back in the days when we used to have the khilafa system we used to have Dignity, we had jealousy for Islam for our sisters and brothers. We used to be one hand and fight asone man, what happened to us? Now look at us we just follow the west, take their life style, and act like them.

Why when an Israeli get killed the whole World stand with them? And of course they keep saying the Muslim terrorist group and keep misinterprets Islam and Muslims.

All they did is defending their lands and trying to get it back. While When 100’s of Muslims dies no one cares? No one even blame them for what they do.

Every single day the west media tries to brain wash the peoples’ mind and always the first thing they do is to makeMuslims and Islam look bad. Make people think we are terrorist, just to cover up their crimes and what they are doing. They never show on TV what they did and keep doing in the Arab world. They never show the truth, all they show is some people are trying to fight back and callthem terrorist while the truth is they are the real terrorist for

invading other countries. Not the ones who trying to defend their lands.

Who is the real terrorist? Muslims, Arabs? Or the real terrorists are the ones who kills 100’s of people every day, destroy lands, take over our houses, and humiliate others?

I guess the time has come to wake up from the dream we are living in. till when we will keep watching them and do nothing? Are you waiting them to come and destroy our lands as they have already destroyed most of the youth mind by all the sexual video clips, all the movies, all the books they send “the culture Invasion”. I don’t mean we should stop reading or watching them. No we have to read and watch what they do not to become like them, but to take care and to know their plans.

I believe that the United States of America, France, UK, china and Japan are the best countries in the whole world in some sort of things like education, technology, and they keep developing themselves every day. So we have to learn from them what it might help us to develop our countries. But that doesn’t mean we have to act like them or be like them or let any country invade our lands but we have to give up everything for our religion, our lands and our families.

I hope we will all care about our education and obey Allah and do what the Islam told us because this is the only way to get to the top of the world as we used to be. Always remember that Allah is watching you in everything you do.

Don’t believe everything the media feeds you; you have your mind to think and to know the whole truth. Acting like other won’t help us to develop but it will just keep us in the bottom of the page.

Faking your feel

Since I was born I hated something

about our society but I didn’t realize

what was it!!?

Days after days I figured it was the

unhealthy TRADITIONS I mean that

which tight you up that make you feel

like some thing over your chest and

you can’t say “no “ to it, or you become

“MO SAN3A “ what I liked about west

societies is the freedom that they owned

they act the way they feel they don’t have

to fake any thing in their feelings under

the name of “esana3 “ few days before

one of my mother’s relative died all the

family should go to the dead person’s

house to solace them even when you

didn’t know the dead one in person or

the worse even you hated him my mom

forced me to go there i said “but I don’t

know him or the others“ but there is no

argument when it comes to traditions the

most ironic thing in this story we know

that we sometimes cheat on our self

before we cheat on the people I don’t

know them I don’t feel sorry for their lost

and the most important thing is I DON’T

care but when it comes to our tradition

we have to fake it .

The whole point of my story is why we

have to act like this when we have the

choice to live our life like the way we

want. in the same time when any one

do some thing good for you will be sure

that he did it for you because he want it

to not because he have to believe me at

first it will be weird but after, the people

will accept this kind of attitude the kind

of DO WHAT YOU FEEL.

Daniel Defoe achieved literary immortality when he published Robinson Crusoe. It dared to challenge the political,

social, and economical status of society. Defoe criticizes the political and economical aspects in England’s society, and

he also shows the narrator’s relationship with nature in a vivid account of the personal growth.

Robinson CrusoeA Critical Analysis

50

Page 51: Issue 19

In the beginning of the novel, the narrator deals with,

not society, but his family’s views on how he has bound

to fall in the life if his parent’s expectations of him taking

the family business were not met. However, Defoe’s novel

was somehow autobiographical. These similarities are

seen throughout the novel. “My father . . . gave serious

and excellent counsel against what he

foresaw was my design”” says Crusoe.

Like Crusoe, Defoe also rebelled against

his parents.

In Robinson Crusoe, Defoe uses the

tale of shipwrecked soldier to criticize

society. Mainly, the story is about on a

Scottish sailor named Alexander Selkirk

who lived alone in the island for 4 years.

In the island setting, Defoe was able to

show what’s necessary for the formation

of a utopian society.

Though Crusoe has developed

throughout the novel to expect what

has become of him, near the end, the

reader sees that loneliness has started to take its toll. He’s

able to sustain life by himself, but also misses the contact

that he had in society. The change that took place on the

island, essentially, made Crusoe realizes that even utopian

experience while isolated is not comparable to that of

sharing human emotions and the riddance of loneliness and

makes him appreciate it more.

In his isolation from the rest of the world, Crusoe is able

to create a utopian society that not only he depends on for

survival, but it’s also dependent on him. There are no other

people to corrupt or destroy the harmony he’s living in with

nature. As Defoe depicts it, the narrator solitary confinement,

even though it was an event that Crusoe viewed as being

punishment from God for his sins, has really caused the

narrator to become enlightened and has also made him

realize that his new life was by far better than in England. “I

cared not if I was never to remove from the place where I

lived”, and “I lived there . . . perfectly and completely happy,

if any such thing as complete happiness can be formed in

sublunary”.

Crusoe’s character appears strong and powerful even when

he gets isolated in the island. He does many things to build

an empire for him such as; building a home, grape arbor,

country house, and a goat stable from practically nothing is

clearly remarkable.

Moreover, Crusoe is never interested

in portraying himself as a hero in his

own narration. He doesn’t show of his

courage in quelling the mutiny, and

he’s always ready to unheroic feelings

of fear and panic, as when he finds the

footprint on the beach. Crusoe prefers

to relate himself as an ordinary sensible

man.

But Crusoe’s admirable qualities must

be weighed against that flaws in his

character, he seems incapable of deep

feeling, as shown by his cold account of

leaving hi family-he worries about the

religious consequences of disobeying

his father, but never displays any

emotions about leaving.

“But no sooner were my eyes open, but I saw my Poll sitting

on top of the hedge; and immediately knew that it was he

that spoke to me; for just in such bemoaning language I

have used to talk to him and teach him; he learned it so

perfectly that he would sir upon my finger and lay his bill

close to my face, and cry, “poor Robin Crusoe! Where are

you? Where have you been? How come you are here?” and

such things as I have taught him”. When Crusoe returns from

his nearly fatal canoe trip in chapter XVI to find his parrot

calling his name, the scene expresses the pathos of having

only a bird to welcome him home, he domesticates the bird

in an attempt to provide himself with a family member, as

we learn later when he refers to his pets in chapter XVII as

his family. Poll’s friendly address to his master foreshadows

Friday’s role as a conversation partner in his life. It seems

like a mystical moment until the words are revealed not to

be God’s, but Crusoe’s own words repeated by a bird.

HOW DO THIN PEOPLE

DO IT?!10 Steps for thin

healthy body

uniQue ArTiCLesby Sara Al-Kandari - Nutritionist - Nutri Viva Event-Coordinatorwww.nutri-viva.com

Have you ever envied thin people and wondered how they

do it. Well nutrition and healthy lifestyle is the answer and

here are the top ten secrets of effortless thin and healthy body:

1. The word “Diet” is not in their dictionary

The phrase “diet” is to “die” with a”t” is true for most individuals;

in most people mentality diet is all about deprivation, eating

tasteless food, and heavy exercises. In fact, it is the opposite.

Being healthy and thin does not require drastic changes; instead, it

requires having a permanent healthy life style in order to maintain

a healthy weight. Therefore, healthy people tend to make more

sensible choices. Thin people diets contain sensible amount of

calories, more fruits, vegetables, and fiber. They exercise more and

drink water more frequently.

2. They don’t skip breakfast

Skipping breakfast is unfortunately one of the most common

mistakes. When you pass on breakfast you are not getting the

amount of energy needed to boost you for work or school in the

morning. Additionally, people who skip breakfast will have a low

metabolism and will probably have a big lunch since they have

empty stomach all morning. Therefore, next time you wake up try

to have a complete well balanced breakfast to get a healthy start

in the morning.

3. They keep track of what they eat & what they weight

Thin people are conscious about their weight and what they

eat. Keeping track of one’s weight is the safest way to prevent

enormous weight gain. Keeping your weight gain within 2-3 kg

Page 55: Issue 19

range is acceptable. One’s you exceed that you have to be more

careful. Also, keeping record of one’s food is a great way to be

more conscious about food choices and amount of food eaten.

4. Exercise is part of their routine

Exercising is one of the most important keys for maintaining

a healthy body. Engaging in a 30 min daily exercise is strongly

recommended. If hearing the word exercise makes you feel tired

just remember to be creative. Try an activity you enjoy including:

walking, jogging, swimming, or dancing. Also, you can always

join a group of friends for motivation, exercise by walking in malls,

or try at home exercise DVDs.

5. they mobilize more though the day

Thin people are not lazy. In addition to their daily exercise routine,

thin people walk, stand, and move around more. They are more

physically active and as a result they burn more calories. Therefore,

try to take advantage of any opportunity that involve moving or

exercising any part of your body.

6. they don’t solve problem with foods

Eating purely out of emotional reasons is a big problem; just

remember Bridget Jones. Emotional eating is associated with high

calorie food such as chocolate and ice-creams. Therefore, before

grabbing a food just ask your self: would it make me feel any

better? The answer would probably be that it will make you worse

especially once you see the extra kilos gain. Try to take out your

frustration in another way. You can take a warm bath, talk to a

friend, or have a walk.

7. they are not members of clean your plate club

Our holy prophet Mohammed has guided us that we should leave

1/3 of our stomach capacity for food 1/3 for drink and the rest

for breath. Unfortunately, this role is not followed. Most people

tend to eat more than they need. Controlling your portion size

is an essential way to control the amount of calorie you’re eating.

Therfore, next time try putting fewer amounts in your plate or

simply use a smaller plate.

8. they don’t skip meals

Skipping meals leads into two problems: 1. it lowers your

metabolism 2. If you kept being hungry for so long you will have a

bigger meal once you got a chance or you will grab any unhealthy

food around you to fill your stomach. Try not to keep your stomach

empty for long time. Having 3 meals and two snacks a day is better

than having 2 or 3 big meals.

9. they don’t surround themselves with temptations

Thin people don’t fill their cupboards with all kinds of temptations.

Keeping unhealthy foods especially empty calorie snacks within

one’s reach is a direct reason to gain weight. That doesn’t mean

that you can’t have some treats every now and then but don’t make

it a constant habit.

10. they don’t sleep directly after eating

Having a nap after eating hinders stomach ability to digest and

cause problems with sleeping. Make sure to sleep two hours

after eating. This will help your body to accomplish his digestion

mission better.

Mercedes-BenzE Class

With the new E-Class, Mercedes-Benz is presenting the pacemaker when it comes to safety, comfort and environmental compatibil-ity in this market segment. With more than 20 new or further technical developments, this saloon further consolidates the leading

position of Mercedes-Benz in the luxury class. They include trailblazing innovations for safe driving that are available from no other manufacturer worldwide in this combination. Examples include the standard Attention Assist, Adaptive Main Beam Assist and automatic emergency braking, which is activated when there is acute danger of a collision.

64

Page 65: Issue 19

Mercedes-Benz has improved the already exempla-ry long-distance comfort of the E-Class even further in the new saloon, including intelligent bodyshell technology with up to 30 percent greater rigidity, further improved seats and a newly developed sus-pension whose shock absorbers automatically ad-just to the current driving situation. The optional air suspension now works together with an electronic damping system.

The outstanding safety and comfort of the E-Class are matched by its environmental compatibility and economy: the four- and six-cylinder engines are direct-injection units, and consume up to 23 percent less fuel than before. The combined NEDC consumption of the new four-cylinder diesel en-gines is just 5.3 litres per 100 kilometres, which corresponds to 139 grams of CO2 per kilometre. All the engines for the new E-Cass meet the EU5 emission standard, and in the case of the E 350 BlueTEC the emissions are already below the EU6 limits planned for 2014 .

Apart from the engines, the BlueEFFICIENCY pack-age for the E-Class is in large part responsible for a considerable fuel saving. Engineers from every de-velopment department have worked together to op-timise assemblies and components, to save fuel by means of reduced weight, a new form, improved functioning or efficient energy management.

The work done in the wind tunnel was particularly successful, for with a drag coefficient of only 0.25, the new E-Class is the world’s most aerodynamical-ly efficient luxury saloon. It betters the already good Cd figure of the preceding model by another four percent, which represents a fuel saving of around 0.25 litres per 100 kilometres when driving at a motorway speed of 130 km/h. The aerodynamics are for example improved by variable fan louvres, which control the airflow to the engine compart-ment in line with requirements.

Other BlueEFFICIENCY measures include newly developed tyres with up to 17 percent lower rolling resistance, energy-saving control of the generator, fuel pump, air conditioning compressor and power steering, and the ECO start/stop functionwhich switches the engine of the new E 200 CGIoff when idling. Displays in the speedometer inform the driver how much fuel is being consumed (per 100 kilometres), and when he should shift to the next higher gear in the interests of an economical and environmentally conscious style of driving.

The range of engines available for the new E-Class comprises four, six and eight-cylinder units with outputs from 100 kW/136 hp to 386 kW/525 hp. The four-cylinder engines are newly developed di-rect-injection units, which develop a higher output and torque than the comparable V6-engines of the preceding series despite a smaller displacement. The strategy is to replace to replace large, naturally aspirated engines with turbocharged units which excel with advantages such as lower weight, re-duced internal friction and more economical oper-ating characteristics.

The Lakers began in 1947 when Ben Berger and Morris Chalfen bought

the Detroit Gems of the National Basketball League for $15,000 and

relocated it to Minneapolis. As the Gems had by far the worst record

in the NBL, the Lakers had the first pick in the 1947 dispersal draft,

which they used to select George Mikan, later to become, arguably, the

greatest center of his time. With Mikan, new coach John Kundla and an

infusion of former University of Minnesota players, the Lakers won the

NBL championship in that 1947-48 season and joined four other NBL

teams in jumping to the Basketball Association of America, where they

promptly won the 1948-49 BBA championship. The NBL and BBA merged

to become the NBA in 1949.

The Minneapolis Lakers were one of the dominant teams of the fledgling

NBA. With Hall of Famers George Mikan, Vern Mikkelsen, Jim Pollard,

Slater Martin, and Clyde Lovellette, they were the NBA’s first “dynasty”,

winning five championships in six years (1949, 1950, 1952, 1953, 1954).

After their move to Los Angeles in 1960, the team featured Hall of Famers

Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Gail Goodrich, and Wilt Chamberlain, but

despite the wealth of talent, they were repeatedly foiled by the Boston

Celtics, losing the championship to them six times in eight years. It wasn’t

until 1972 when they strung together a record 33-game win streak under

Coach of the Year Bill Sharman that they were able to secure their first

championship in Los Angeles.

However, even with the addition of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, they weren’t able

to win another championship until the arrival of Earvin “Magic” Johnson in

1979, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers thanks to an MVP performance by

the rookie Magic, who, starting for the injured Kareem, had 42 points, 15

rebounds, and 7 assists to clinch the series. Under coach Pat Riley, a former

Laker player, the Lakers then went on to dominate the 1980s, appearing

in the finals eight times in the decade and being crowned champions five

times, including consecutive championships in 1987 and 1988, the first

team to do so since Boston in 1969.

In a December 9, 1977 game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston

Rockets center Kevin Kunnert got into a fight with the Lakers’ Kermit

Washington. As Houston guard Rudy Tomjanovich ran over to the two,

Washington turned and blindly swung his fist. The powerful blow landed

squarely on the face of a running Tomjanovich, causing massive jaw, eye,

and cheek injuries; Tomjanovich’s skull was also fractured when his head

hit the floor. That shocking scene became the defining moment of not only

the Rockets’ 1977-78 season (a conference finals team the previous year,

collapsed into last place with a 28-54 record) but also of two basketball

players’ professional careers. Tomjanovich, displaying the “heart of a

champion”, spent the next five months in rehab returning to play as an

NBA all-star.

Although they made another finals appearance in 1991, they spent most of

the 1990s fielding teams that were not considered legitimate championship

contenders. During the 1999-2000 season, however, they were able to

make it back to the Finals when Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Phil

Jackson proved to be the winning combination, taking three consecutive

championships. After missing out in 2003, a retooled Lakers team featuring

newcomers Karl Malone and Gary Payton roared into the 2004 finals

heavily favored to win, only to lose to Detroit in five games.

The following summer, the team was ripped apart. Personality conflicts

between Shaq and Kobe Bryant came to a head. Shaquille O’Neal

demanded to be traded and he was, sent to the Miami Heat. Karl Malone

retired, Gary Payton was traded to the Boston Celtics, and Phil Jackson

left, replaced by Rudy Tomjanovich, who left the team part way through

his first season.

Kobe Bryant led the retooled young team but the results were anything but

positive and the Lakers ended up missing the playoffs for the 1st time in 11

years, & the 1st time in Kobe Bryants’s professional career. Here in the 2005

season, fans have reason to be optimistic, thanks to the return of Jackson,

and are looking for the Lakers to make the playoffs.

The team is renown for the fanbase of famous celebrities, such as musicians

and movie stars who attend its games. However, its most avid fans are

actor Jack Nicholson and the California-based popular funk-rock band

Red Hot Chili Peppers who attend every game. There’s even a rumor that

singer Anthony Kiedis and bassist Flea attend even the preseason games

as a measure of their dedication to the team, and American Idol 4 winner

Carrie Underwood has announced that she is an avid fan. The song “Magic

Johnson”, a tribute to the Showtime Lakers, can be found on the Red Hot

Chili Peppers’ album Mother’s Milk.

The Tudors chronicles the period of Henry VIII’s reign in which his effectiveness as King is

tested by international conflicts as well as political intrigue in his own court, while the pres-

sure of fathering a male heir sparks the rise of Anne Boleyn.

Henry finds himself as the head of his own Church of England, paving the way for the banishment

of Katherine of Aragon, Anne becomes Henry’s new Queen, but her own failure to produce a son

dooms her as Henry’s attention sways heavily toward Jane Seymour.

Then the story goes on the deteriorating relationship between Henry VIII and the Catholic Church,

The Curious Case ofBenjamin ButtonDrama / Fantasy

Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett

“I was born under unusual circumstanc-es.” And so begins ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,’ adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918 to the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man’s life can be. Benjamin Button is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.

The Spirit tracks this cold hearted killer from the city’s run-down warehouses, to the damp cata-combs, to the windswept waterfront all the while facing a bevy of beauti-ful women who either want to seduce, love or kill the masked crusader.

Finding themselves in a high-stakes chase across the globe, their relentless tenacity puts their own lives at risk as the bank will stop at nothing - even murder - to continue financing terror and war. Automotive Photography or Car photography

Page 91: Issue 19

Automotive Photography contains various motorsports pictures and photographs of exclusive and interesting automobiles. With my camera as a tool I seek the beauty in cars. The lines, the power, the shapes. I try to look for the beauty in details as well as the beauty of a car as a whole. Also, getting my camera in extreme angles where it’s normally impossible to get but with the use of modern technology it helps me achieve what I achieve.

Advice of The Month

It’s known that it takes a courageous and a great person to forgive, for it frees your soul from those heavy feelings that you keep bearing while you’re angry and upset which can destroy your life. Forgiveness is considered a gift

you give to yourself, it doesn’t revolve around those who hurt you, and it’s about you. It’s for you to clean your heart, move on with your life and enjoy it to the maximum.

And what is more annoying to your enemies than forgiving them. They deliberately do stuff to upset you and make you live in resentment and anger, to make your life almost depressing, but when you forgive them, it’s like acknowl-edging that you’re fine with what they’ve done and now you can move on. It really annoys them.

“ Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much “

Oscar Wilde
