Hajime Dalu Robot Restaurant in Bangkok offers a menu of nearly 100 authentic Japanese dishes and the “servers” are designed to make gestures and expressions

Customers can order their food on a touch-screen display on each table and the robot waiters will serve the food. To order your meal, you press the images of the food you require that display on the robot’s facial touch screen and this then relays to the kitchen. The additional robots they hope to add will be able to perform a greater variety of services, and come in a more exciting appearance.

Robot waiters at Hajime restaurant in Bangkok not only serve diners their meals with a friendly, but steely smile, they can also bust a move and provide dinner entertainment.

So it’s no surprise that some restaurants are employing innovative technology to enhance the dining experience. Not only do they serve people their dishes but they also can dance in time to techno music.
