I have been very lucky to experience the working atmosphere in a successful Japanese law firm. Lawyers at Higashimachi LPC are professionals with extensive knowledge in their relative fields.

I have gained very valuable practical and theoretical skills throughout my internship at Higashimachi LPC. Attending client meetings, preparing meeting memos as well as client briefings, conducting legal research and attending court hearings were among just some of the many activities during my internship. I think being involved in the ongoing cases directly with all the parties was exceptionally valuable experience.

Thanks to the guidance I received from the lawyers, my baggage of knowledge now includes among others, the areas of International Commercial Law, International Shipping Law, International Space Law and some expertise in Japanese domestic laws.

Outside of the office, I have been involved in stimulating conversations on various topics with the lawyers over lunch.

Thanks to such professional and social interactions I believe my network in the legal field has also grown significantly.

I wish all the lawyers and the staff at Higashimachi LPC prosperity in their careers and further success to the law firm.

To the future interns at Higashimachi LPC, I recommend to value every minute of internship and every advice from the lawyers.
