PLAYERS TURN:PLAYERS TURN:At the beginning of their turn, the active player refills the available Scouts

cards back to 3 and then place one of then adjacent to any previously placed cards on the Battleground following to the rules bellow:

Then, the active player may perform as many movements with their units as written on the center of the Scout card they just placed.

Scout cards can be placed heads up or upside down, as long as they are fully aligned. You

may never place Scout cards sideways.

If there is a Valknut in the newly placed Scout card, the player

spawns a new troop on top of it.

If the active player don’t have extra troops to spawn, they get one extra movement this turn.

You might discard one of the Scout cards available back to the game box and replace it with your ambush card.

Moving units:Moving units:Units move in a straight orthogonal line, as long as there are no obstacles, such

as: another units (either friends or foes), mountains, rivers and forests.

Your movement points can be spent in the same unit moving it multiple times at the same turn or divided by multiple units. Even if your unit is capable of crossing

obstacles, it may never stay on top of it by the end of a movement.

At the end of each movement, check if you have killed an enemy unit. After you are done expending your movement points, pass the turn to the next player.

Spending one moment point, you may move an unit by any number of zones in a straight line as long

as there is no obstacles.

An unit may never move diagonally.

Movement points can be spent in one or more

units at a turn.

Even tho some units are capable of crossing obstacles, they may

never stay on top of it.

Killing units:Killing units:If you flank an enemy unit by adjacent opposite sides orthogonally, you kill the

enemy unit immediatly. Your units, mountains, rivers and forests counts to flank and kill enemy units. Diagonals are never considered adjacent.

Your troops can’t be killed during your turn, but they will be killed automatically at the beginning of the next player’s turn if you let then stay in a position were they are already

flanked by enemy troops.

Nothing happens, there’s no draugar piece considered to be flanked.

The draugar unit is removed from the battleground and

given back to its owner.

Endgame Scoring:Endgame Scoring:At any point of the game, If you kill all enemy troops in the battleground, you win. If the last card of the Scout pool is placed, and there is still enemy troops on the battleground, every troop that is NOT in the starting area scores as many victory points as described on each unit. If there is still a tie, the warband with the most maximum troops wins the game.

In this example, the Draugar player scores 8 victory points, while the Viking scores 9 winning the game!
