Compass for

Compassion

Page 6: Galatians 2:10, NIV

Pray for God’s Workers

Page 7: Galatians 2:10, NIV

Jesus went through all the towns and villages,

teaching in their synagogues, preaching

the good news of the kingdom and healing

every disease and sickness.

Page 8: Galatians 2:10, NIV

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,

because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep

without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the

workers are few.

Page 9: Galatians 2:10, NIV

Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out

workers into his harvest field.”

— Matthew 9:35-38, NIV

Pray for God’s Power

Page 12: Galatians 2:10, NIV

“It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything,

take pity on us and help us.”

“If you can?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for

him who believes.”

Page 13: Galatians 2:10, NIV

Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do

believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil

spirit.

Page 14: Galatians 2:10, NIV

“You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you,

come out of him and never enter him again.”

The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and

came out.

Page 15: Galatians 2:10, NIV

The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said,

“He's dead.” But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted

him to his feet, and he stood up.

Page 16: Galatians 2:10, NIV

After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked

him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”

He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”

— Mark 9:22-29, NIV

“A Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the

man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.

He went to him and bandaged his wounds,

pouring on oil and wine.

Page 20: Galatians 2:10, NIV

Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an

inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper.

Page 21: Galatians 2:10, NIV

‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will

reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

Page 22: Galatians 2:10, NIV

“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to

the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

The expert in the law replied, “The one who had

mercy on him.”

Page 23: Galatians 2:10, NIV
