2017 international summer school at NCKU features "Circular Economy" as the main theme. The program educates participants on how to develop businesses, good for people, planet and profit. How to use waste from other industries as resource input, and eliminating any waste from the production process: energy + water + carbon-neutral? Emphasis includes interactive discussions and students’ hands on experiences. Field trips such as Tainan historical city tour, Taijiang National Park, and a factory visit will be organized for a holistic insight of the course and Tainan. Our summer program also includes Chinese language and cultural classes which will immerse students in a unique cultural atmosphere. Through these academic and cultural activities, we believe students will broaden their horizons in Tainan, Taiwan!
