I am grateful and honored to briefl y introduce our Compa-ny to you.

EURO-ASFALT is Company from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.Once very perspective and rising country, after the war (1992-1995), Bosnia and Herzegovina was completely ruined. In the very beginning of the post war period, a lot of experienced, well trained and highly educated professionals were unemployed, either be-cause of the war destruction of industrial capacities or post war economic changes.We realized potential of these people and decided to create new company and to engage the best of them. In the year of 1996 we founded EURO – SFALT Company.

EURO – ASFALT today is Com-pany with 150 employees, and two branch offi ces, in Germany and now in Libya.

Strength of EURO – ASFALT Company is in permanent looking for the perfection in work and in attitude to be al-ways “up to date” with new technologies and scientifi c accomplishments. Company’s structure observes strict rules of the international markets, our management is fl exible and we are continuously train-ing our staffs. Our staffs were

practicing in the best Bosnian and well known European companies where they col-lected remarkable experience on the projects which have been completed successfully in Europe, Russia and coun-tries of ZNG, Malaysia, Iraq, Qatar, Algeria, etc.

Successfully completed projects in Bosnia, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy etc. are reliable evidence that EURO – ASFALT is able to maintain business relationship, accept-able prices, to respect terms and conditions, and to meet international requirements regarding the quality.

Partnership established with our clients, other construc-tion companies and mate-rial producers as our logistic support, possibility to mobi-lize high capacities of skilled

GENERAL COMPANY OUTLINE

Since its foundation in 1996 EURO – ASFALT implemented projects in almost all fi elds of con-struction industry. First works in the earliest phase of developing of EURO – ASFALT were on waterproofi ng insulations, and it is still one of our major activities. Today we can proudly say that our company is capable either to bear full responsibility or to take a part in executing of various projects in civil engineering. Constructing of new structure, different and unique in demands, is always new creation in our own expertness and know-how. EURO – ASFALT is special-ized for road construction, in-sulation works, construction of water supplying systems, special reconstructions and adaptations, fi nal works in civil construction, erection of prefab constructions and oth-er parts of civil engineering in general, consulting services, designing services etc.

Requirements regarding civil engineering in Libya are very rigorous and understand im-plementation of the best in-ternational practice.EURO – ASFALT has capabil-ity, power, knowledge, equip-ment and internal criteria to face of that challenge.

EURO – ASFALT is registered according Libyan law.

The manager of the Branch offi ce in Libya, with full legal authorization for representing our Company in Libya is Mr. Haris Mehinagić.

MAIN FIELDS OF ACTIVITIES

EURO-ASFALT undertakes designing, engineering, supplying and performance of various civil engineering works, as road works, including some basic installations and infrastructure, in-sulating works, fi nal works, special reconstructions, construction of sport terrains, drainages and water supplying systems, erection of pre-engineered structures etc. Our plans for future include construction of facilities for production of special building materials in Sarajevo.

EURO – ASFALT is specialized for following activities:

1. DESIGN

Designing of projects in civil engi-neering, also as a support to con-struction activities. Designing is provided by the Head Offi ce in Sara-jevo.

2. ROAD WORKS One of the main specialties of our com-pany. Supported by many highly qualifi ed and experienced craftsman, and by our Field Engineers, EURO-ASFALT have full capacity and appropriate equipment, to

perform works on various types of road constructions and pavement structures.



3. PIPELINES Qualifi ed team of professionals provides the completion of various drainage, water supplying and pipelines systems.

4. INSULATION Implementation of the international meth-ods, standards, technologies and materi-als, and our professionals certifi cated by famous producers, provide the best quality accomplishing of any type of water, humid-ity and thermal insulation.

5. SPORT FACILITIES EURO-ASFALT company is capable to complete construction of Sport Facilities such as Athletic tracks, Tennis courts, Sport halls, Swimming pools, Golf ter-rains, Turf trucks, Football terrains etc.

6. FINAL WORKS Installation of very specifi c unusual mate-rials, like antistatic fl oors, grazed roof cov-erings, solar energy cells n roof covering, chemical resistant fl oors etc. as well as raditional fi nal works like painting, tiling, interior and exterior works, etc.

7. RECONSTRUCTION Reconstruction of heavy damaged structures by mplementation of high-tech materials like carbon fi bers, epoxy resins, systems for reinforcing of struc-tures, njecting and penetrating etc.


STAFF

EURO-ASFALT employs a respectable number of ex-perienced engineers and technicians as well as large number of highly qualifi ed workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our motto experience and top quality is referring to signifi cant experience of our staff as well as top quality is our maxima and essential de-termination in performing of works.

Engineers, technicians and skilled workers are our main power. They are thus ensuring that each undertaken job meets high technical and other standards to the full satis-faction of the client.

Managing and Supervision Staff EURO – ASFALT supervision personnel are permanently em-ployed, however when new staff is required it EURO – AS-FALT policy to carefully look for and engage fully qualifi ed and experienced personnel in the skill for which they are recruiting them, mainly from Europe. Also we have regu-larly collaboration with experts from University of Sarajevo as well as necessary consultation with experts and profes-sionals from famous European (mainly German) producers of various building materials, depending on the type and nature of actual work.

Craft Labor Main aim of EURO – ASFALT Company, to perform a work on the best possible way is the principle reason to employ only highly skilled professionals. Overall in-tention of our company is to satisfy the project’s labor requirements by relocating its personnel from current project and projects from which they have been recently demobilized. The labor recalled is selected on the basis of their qualifi cation, experience and their satisfactory past performance. Priority is given to the recruitment of workers from projects with good results.

When new recruitment is required it, our policy is to recruit workers fully skilled and experi-enced, for performance of certain job. Before prior to their utilization new recruits are fully tested.



Subcontractor

EURO-ASFALT generally takes full responsibility for execution of the work. However if some parts of specialized work require engag-ing of additional company, those parts are sub-contracted.

Conditions apply to our workers and employs, our com-pany request from all subcontractors’ personnel as to be fully trained, experienced and appropriate skilled for the execution of the subcontracted part of the work.

The Subcontractor is chosen from variety of subcontrac-tors, which are already engaged on some similar jobs and which has a good experience regarding the quality of works and services rendered. References of previous works, as well as structure of company are main parameters for choosing of a subcon-tracting company. The choice of the Subcontractors is always subject to Client’s approval.

Specialized work EURO – ASFALT overall intention is to ex-ecute construction using its own resources, for some specialized purposes which are out of our capacities, our fi rst choice is to engage Libyan and if necessary European and other specialized personnel on full time or rent basis, as found to be appropriate.

HEALTH, SAFETY ENVIRONMENTAL

EURO-ASFALT through implementing an advanced Health, Safety and Environmental Protec-tion Management System and international standards referring above named issues, strives to establish a risk free, safety oriented working environment, protecting the health of its work-force and keeping the environment pollution free to its best efforts.

This system is enforced through self-implementation by allocating clear and dedicated indi-vidual responsibilities, setting performance challenges and by gathering day to day advanced techniques.

Commencing from project award through the working procedure step by step, each activity is under rigorous procedure consider-ing above named. No action on the site can be undertaken be-fore fully analyzing of their possible affects regarding the health, safety and environmental protection. No action is executed with-out severe control of the quality.

In order to implement the general Policy of the HSE, we devel-oped our internal Management Plan. The HSE Management Plan is directly applicable to every our employee assigned to

work on our projects as well on our subcontractors if any.

Regardless the area where we are present and wherever we have infl uence we are making every effort and contribute to others to take

care about personnel and environment.

HSE – GENERAL POLICY

EURO-ASFALT is attending to be active as a part of International Engineering and Contracting Companies and it means implementations of Interna-

tional standards and best practice. As the understanding of importance of HSE Protection Policy is becoming more signifi cant almost daily, the nomenclature regarding HSE issue is changing also respectably fast. EURO-ASFALT has attained and maintained their position in the mar-ket place through commitment to HSE Protection Policy in all aspects of its operations. Our views of HSE Protection Policy awareness as a

further extension of its total quality management approach.



Planning, preparation, analysis of potential hazards, restrictive pol-icy concerning workers competency and profi ciency, the use of suitable tools and equipment and heightened safety awareness can avoid accidents. Every our employee, either General Man-ager or laborer, has primary responsibility to ensure that, within his own sphere of responsibility, he doesn’t under any circum-stances, compromise any aspect of his duties or responsibilities which could in any way cause or increase the risk of accidents which might results in injury to any body or damage to our third party’s assets.

Our primary consideration is to achieve “No accidents” safety records in the evaluation of the successfully completed projects.

In its operations our company will maintain an Environmental Protection policy that will include environmental impact assessment, waste segregation and dispos-al programs, measurement of pollutants and control, through proper acceptable construction industry practice with legislative requirements.

EURO-ASFALT in its Planning, Designing, Procurement, Installation and Operation are implementing mainly ISO, ISM and other recognized International HSE Man-agement systems.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL

EURO-ASFALT developed QAC system based on ISO standard and as a result of this is QAC Manual. This document describes adopt-ed standards which have to be implemented and to provide basic understanding of the Quality System at the company.

The requirements specifi ed in the Manual are aimed primarily at pre-venting nonconformity to these standards at all stages from design to servicing.

Commitment of the each EURO – ASFALT employee within the scope of their duties to carry out their activities according to the rules and requests of named Manual. True sense of the Manual is to ensure that quality of all works done corresponds to the Contract conditions, rules and standards, as indicated in Contract papers and relevant laws and supporting standards.

EURO-ASFALT has established the Quality assurance unit. The head of this unit in function of Quality Manager is fully responsible for issues concerning Quality. He is responsible for im-plementation and observance of Quality Manual in all Projects and Services which have to be done by the our company.


QAC – POLICY

EURO-ASFALT is placing particular emphasis on Quality. We have an uncompromising commitment to quality. Our designs, procure, supplies and execution or carry out con-tracted Services on the basis of high standards for reliabil-ity, as well as for meeting all safety aspects for manpower and equipment. This involves high effi ciency on quality.

Our maxima is top quality and experience. Experience of company is just virtual and fi gurative. In fact it is experi-ence of company’s employees. We are proud to say that our employees have signifi cant experience. It is under-standable that it doesn’t mean top quality automatically. Quality is one of our main aims and business policy, and must be involved and reproduced from the organization of work itself. It is ensured by internal implementing of in-ternational quality standards in own testing and additional independent opinion when necessary and same procedure for all services and supplies.

All our organization units are organized and motivated to think and act as to promote and apply quality rules and procedures in our activities, to increase our competition capability, to provide clear working sequences and optimization of the quality costs. Furthermore quality requirements of EURO – ASFALT Company are to be fulfi lled including the extended work war-ranty and liability.

In order to provide top quality level and to guarantee the best quality standards of the serv-ices performed by our Company, we decide to compile and to verify that all steps of Quality assurance are entered and defi ned in the Manual, according to DIN/ISO standards for QMS, and to adopted the Manual as one of the most important part and fundamental Company’s policy.
