Therefore, in a normal situation, glucose 1-P is probably hydro- lyzed through a preliminary conversion into glu- cose 6-P by phosphoglucomutase. p. 116, left-hand column, sentence beginning on line 7 should read: One is cellular retinol-binding protein (CRBP) which binds retinol with high affinity and specific- ity; the other is cellular retinoic acid-binding pro- tein (CRABP) which binds retinoic acid and its analogs.
