基 督 徒 與 禱 告

「我必領他們到我的聖山 , 使他們在「 禱 告 」我的殿中喜樂 . 他們的燔祭和平安祭 , 在我壇上「 必

蒙 悦 納 」 , 因「 我 的 殿 必 稱 為 萬 民 禱 告 的 殿 」 . 」( 賽 56 : 7 )

「 我 的 神 啊 , 現 在 求 祢 睁 眼 看 , 側 耳 聽 在 此 處 所 獻 的 禱 告 . 」( 代下 6 : 40 )

「 所 羅 門 祈 禱 已 畢 , 就 有 火 從 天 上 降 下 來 , 燒 盡 燔 祭 和 別 的 祭 , 耶 和 華 的 榮 光 充

滿 了 殿 . 」 ( 代下 7 : 1 )

「 應當一無掛慮 , 「 只 要 凡 事 藉 著 禱 告 , 祈 求 , 和 感 謝」 , 將你們所要的告訴神 . 神所賜出人

意外的平安 , 必在基督耶穌裏 , 保守你們的心懷意念 . 」( 腓 4 : 6 -7 )

「靠著聖靈 「隨 時 多 方 禱 告 祈 求」,並要在此警醒不倦 , 為眾聖徒祈求」 ( 弗 6 : 18 )

「 萬 物 的 結 局 近 了 . 所 以 , 你 們 要 謹 慎 自 守 , 警 醒 禱 告 . 」 ( 彼前 4 : 7 )

基督聖徒蒙恩得救以後 , 在整個人生當中 , 一個恆切 , 隨時多方 , 永不間斷的屬靈行動就是「 禱

告 」, 從聖經的啓示中我們曉得 , 神喜悦禱告 , 神吩咐禱告 , 神應許禱告 , 神察看禱告 , 神垂聽禱

告 , 神更回應禱告 , 答允禱告 , 成全禱告 . 透過禱告 , 我們向神傾心吐意 , 與神親近 , 建立一個與神親

密無間的關係 . 透過禱告 , 我們聆聽 , 察驗神的善良 , 純全 , 可喜悦的旨意 . 透過禱告 , 我們內裏的屬

靈生命得著供應 , 以致生命的質素 , 思想 , 心懷意念得以更新並且成長 . 透過禱告 , 我們將一切的須

要和處境告訴神 , 以致得著力量 , 得著幫助 , 得著供應 . 透過禱告 , 我們一生永不止息的感謝讚美神 .

所以 , 親愛的弟兄姊妹 , 「基 督 聖 徒 必 須 深 入 , 透 切 , 全 面 , 學 習 如 何 禱 告」.

( 一 ) 為 甚 麼 要 禱 告 ?

1 ) 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 吩 咐

「總 要 警 醒 禱 告 , 免得入了迷惑 , 你們心靈固然願意 , 肉體卻軟弱了 . 」( 太 26 : 41 )

2 ) 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 榜 樣

「耶穌同門徒來到一個地方 , 名叫客西馬尼 , 就對他們説 : 「你們坐在這裏 , 等「 我 到 那 邊

去 禱 告 」 . 」 ( 太 26 : 36 )

3 ) 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 教 導

「「 你 們 禱 告 」 , 「 不 可 像 外 邦 人 」 , 用許多重複話 , 他們以為話多了必蒙垂聽 . 你們不

可效法他們 ; 因為你們沒有祈求以先 , 你們所需用的 , 你們的父早已知道了 . 所以 , 「 你 們 禱

告 要 這 樣 説 」 … 」 ( 太 6 : 7-9 )

4 ) 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 應 許

「….… 「 我 實 實 在 在 的 告 訴 你 們 」 , 「 你 們 若 向 父 求 甚 麼 , 衪 必 因 我 的 名 賜 給 你

們 」 , 向來你們沒有奉我的名求甚麼 , 「 如 今 你 們 求 , 就 必 得 著 」 , 叫你們的喜樂可以滿

足 . 」 ( 約 16 : 23-24 )

5 ) 聖 徒 依 靠 神 的 行 動

「弟兄們 , 我們不要你們不曉得 , 我們從前在亞細亞遭遇苦難 , 被壓太重 , 力不能勝 , 甚至連活

命的指望都絕了 ; 自己心裏也斷定是必死的 , 叫我們「 不 靠 自 己 , 只 靠 叫 死 人 復 活 的 神 」 . 」

( 林後 1 : 8-9 )

6 ) 聖 徒 親 近 神 的 行 動

「「神 啊」 , 祢是我的神 , 「我 要 切 切」的「 尋 求 祢 」 , 在乾旱疲乏無水之地 , 我「 渴 想 祢 」 ;

我的心「切 慕 祢」 ; 我在聖所中曾如此「瞻 仰 祢」 , 為「要 見 祢」的能力和祢的榮耀 . 因祢的慈

愛比生命更好 , 我的嘴唇要「頌 讚 祢」 . 」( 詩 63 : 1-3 )

7 ) 聖 徒 感 謝 神 的 行 動

「要常常喜樂 , 「 不 住 的 禱 告 , 凡 事 謝 恩 」 , 因為「這 是 神 在 基 督 耶 穌 裏 向 你 們 所 定 的

旨 意 」 . 」 ( 帖前 5 : 16-18 )

( 二 ) 如 何 預 備 禱 告 ?

1 ) 「 純 一 清 潔 的 信 心 」

「人非有信 , 就不能得神的喜悦 , 因為「到 神 面 前 來 的 人 必 須 信 有 神 , 且 信 衪 賞 賜 那 尋

求 衪 的 人 」 . 」 ( 來 11 : 6 )

「 只 要 憑 著 信 心 求 , 一 點 不 疑 惑 」 ; 因為那疑惑的人 , 就像海中的波浪 , 被風吹動翻騰 .

這樣的人 , 不要想從主那裏得甚麼 . 」 ( 雅 1 : 6-7 )

2 ) 「 遠 離 罪 惡 的 清 心 」

「 我 若 心 裏 注 重 罪 孽 , 主 必 不 聽 」 . 」 ( 詩 66 : 18 )

「耶和華的膀臂並非縮短 , 不能拯救 , 耳朵並非發沉 , 不能聽見 .但你們的「 罪 孽 」使你們與

神隔絕 ; 你們的「 罪 惡 」「 使 衪 掩 面 不 聽 你 們 」 . 」( 賽 59 : 1-2 )

3 ) 「 愛 神 愛 人 的 愛 心 」

「「有 了 我 的 命 令 又 遵 守 的 , 這 人 就 是 愛 我 的」 , 愛我的必蒙我父愛他 , 我也要愛他 , 並且

要向他顯現 . 」( 約 14 : 21 )

「並 且 我 們 一 切 所 求 的 , 就 從 衪 得 著」 ; 「 因 為 我 們 遵 守 衪 的 命 令 」 , 行衪所喜悦的事 .

神的命令就是叫我們信衪兒子耶穌基督的名 , 且照「 衪 所 賜 給 我 們 的 命 令 彼 此 相 愛 」 . 」

( 約壹 3 : 22-23 )

4 ) 「 敬 虔 敬 畏 的 義 心 」

「因為「主 的 眼 看 顧 義 人 , 主 的 耳 聽 他 們 的 祈 禱 」 . 惟有「 行 惡 的 人 , 主 向 他 們 變

臉 」 . 」 (彼前 3 : 12 )

「原來各國中 , 那「 敬 畏 主 行 義 的 人 , 都 為 主 所 悦 納 」. 」 ( 徒 10 : 35 )

5 ) 「 持 守 真 理 的 忠 心 」

「我們若「 照 衪 的 旨 意 求 」甚麼 , 衪就聽我們 , 這是我們向衪所存坦然無懼的心 . 既然知道

衪聽我們一切所求的 , 就知道我們所求於衪的 , 無不得著 . 」 ( 約壹 5 : 14-15 )

「 掩 耳 不 聽 律 法 的 , 他 的 祈 禱 也 為 可 憎 . 」 (箴 28 : 9 )

6 ) 「 謙 卑 順 服 的 虛 心 」

「…神 阻 擋 驕 傲 的 人 , 賜 恩 給 謙 卑 的 人 , 故 此 , 你 們 要 順 服 神…」( 雅 4 : 6-7 )

( 三 ) 應 該 怎 樣 禱 告 ?

「所以 , 你們禱告要這樣説 : 「我 們 在 天 上 的 父」;「願」人都尊「祢 的 名 為 聖」 , 願「 祢 的

國 降 臨 」 ; 願「 祢 的 旨 意 行 在 地 上 」 , 如同行在天上 . 「 我 們 日 用 的 飲 食 」 , 今日「 賜

給 我 們 」 . 「 免 我 們 的 債 」 , 如同我們「免 了 人 的 債」 . 「 不 叫 我 們 遇 見 試 探 , 救 我

們 脱 離 兇 惡 」 . 因為「 國 度 , 權 柄 , 榮 耀 , 全 是 祢 的 , 直 到 永 遠 」 . 阿們 ! 」

( 太 6 : 9-13 )

1 ) 感 恩 愛 慕 親 近 神 的 心 ( 9 節上 )

「 我 們 在 天 上 的 父 ! 」

2 ) 先 求 神 的 國 和 神 的 義 ( 9 節下 , 10 節 )

「願 人 都 尊 祢 的 名 爲 聖 , 願 祢 的 國 降 臨 , 願 祢 的 旨 意 行 在 地 上 , 如 同 行 在 天 上」

3 ) 求 一 切 的 需 要 與 代 求 ( 11 節 )

「 我 們 日 用 的 飲 食 , 今 日 賜 給 我 們 . 」

4 ) 求 主 赦 免 罪 孽 和 過 犯 ( 12 節 )

「 免 我 們 的 債 , 如 同 我 們 免 了 人 的 債 . 」

5 ) 求 主 幫 助 警 醒 及 謹 守 ( 13 節上 )

「 不 叫 我 們 遇 見 試 探 , 救 我 們 脱 離 兇 惡 . 」

6 ) 一 切 榮 耀 頌 讚 歸 與 神 ( 13 節下 )

「因 為 國 度 , 權 柄 , 榮 耀 , 全 是 祢 的 , 直 到 永 遠 .」 阿 們 ! 」

牧 者 心 聲 : -

「 有一座山 , 名叫橄欖山 , 離耶路撒冷不遠 , 約有安息日可走的路程 . 當下 , 門徒從那裏回耶

路撒冷去 . 進了城 , 就上了所住的一間樓房 ; 在那裏有彼得 , 約翰 , 雅各 , 安得烈 , 腓力 , 多

馬 , 巴多羅買 , 馬太 , 亞勒腓的兒子雅各 , 奮鋭黨的西門 , 和雅各的兒子猶大 . 這些人同著幾個

婦人和耶穌的母親馬利亞 , 並耶穌的弟兄 , 都「 同 心 合 意 的 恆 切 禱 告 」 . 」 ( 徒 1 : 12-14 )

Christians and Prayer “these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt

offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for

all nations.” (Isaiah 56:7)

“Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” (2

Chronicles 6:40)

“When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and

the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.” (2 Chronicles 7:1)

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,

present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard

your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be

alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18)

“The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.” (1

Peter 4:7)

After holy people of God have been saved through grace, for their whole lives, there is an

unceasing, and in all occasions, an incessant spiritual action of prayer. From the revelations

in the Bible, we learn that God is pleased with prayer, He instructs us to pray, He allows

prayer, He sees our prayers, He hears our prayers and He listens to our prayers. Even more

so, He responds to our prayers, answers our prayers and fulfills our prayers. Through prayer,

we can pour our hearts out to God, draw closer to God and establish an intimate

relationship with God. Through prayer, we listen to test and approve what God’s will is – his

good pleasing and perfect will. Through prayer, our spiritual life can receive sustenance, so

that the quality of our lives, our thoughts, our hearts and minds can be renewed and grow.

Through prayer, we can tell God all our needs and situations, so that we can receive

strength, help and sustenance. Through prayer, we can unceasingly give thanks and praises

to God for all of our lives. Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, “holy people of God need to

deeply, thoroughly and completely learn how to pray.”

A) Why should we pray?

1) Lord Jesus Christ’s instruction

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is

weak.” (Matthew 26:41)

2) Lord Jesus Christ’s example

“Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here

while I go over there and pray.” (Matthew 26:36)

3) Lord Jesus Christ’s teaching

“And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard

because of their many words. Do no be like them, for your Father knows what you need before

you ask him. This, then, is how you should pray…” (Matthew 6:7-9)

4) Lord Jesus Christ’s promise

“… I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have

not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete” (John

16:23-24)

5) An action of God’s holy people relying on God

“We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about the hardships we suffered in the

province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we

despaired even of life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened

that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.” (2 Corinthians 1:8-9)

6) An action of God’s holy people drawing closer to God

“O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a

dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in sanctuary and beheld your power

and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.” (Psalm 63:1-3)

7) An action of God’s holy people giving thanks to God

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in

Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

B) How should we prepare to pray?

1) A heart of faith that is sincere and pure

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must

believe he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

“But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the

sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the

Lord;” (James 1:6-7)

2) A clean heart that turns away from sin

“If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;” (Psalm 66:18)

“Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your

iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he

will not hear,” (Isaiah 59:1-2)

3) A loving heart that loves God and loves people

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will

be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” (John 14:21)

“and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases

him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one

another as he commanded us.” (1 John 3:22-23)

4) A righteous heart that fears and honours God

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the

face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12)

“but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.” (Acts 10:35)

5) A faithful heart that holds on to the truth

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will,

he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what

we asked of him.” (1 John 5:14-15)

“If anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayers are detestable.” (Proverbs 28:9)

6) A modest heart that is humble and submissive

“… God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Submit yourselves, then, to God…”

(James 4:6-7)

B) How should we pray?

“This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily

bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into

temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and

the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)

1) A heart that is thankful and desires to draw closer to God (verse 9a)

“Our Father in heaven,”

2) Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness (verse 9b, 10)

“hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in

heaven.”

3) Petition for all our needs and intercessions (verse 11)

“Give us today our daily bread.”

4) Ask the Lord for forgiveness for our sins and transgressions (verse 12)

“Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”

5) Ask the Lord to help us be alert and self-controlled (verse 13a)

“Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

6) All glory and honour be to God (verse 13b)

“For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.”

“Then they returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath

day’s walk from the city. When they arrived, they went upstairs to the room where

they were staying. Those present were Peter, John, James and Andrew; Philip and

Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot,

and Judas son of James. They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the

women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.” (Acts 1:12-14)
