PIVOTAL is an acronym’ which means professional, vocational, technical and academic learning
programmes that result in qualifications or part qualifications on the National Qualifications

Non PIVOTAL ProgrammesNon PIVOTAL Programmes
• Non Pivotal Programmes are Programmes which do not lead to credit bearing gqualification, however address key objectives and priorities of the SETAand priorities of the SETA.
• Non Pivotal Programmes include: Career Guidance Sector Conferences Sector Conferences

• Levy Payers must have submitted Mandatory Grant Application and Pivotal Plan in April pp p2014
• Non Levy Payers must submit Pivotal Plan• Non Levy Payers must submit Pivotal Plan• PIVOTAL Training must be conducted in the 2014/15 financial year

Allocation of Discretionary Grant funding will address PIVOTAL and Non PIVOTAL programmes and be apportioned as follows:
Levy Payers
PIVOTAL Projects 60% of funding will be allocated to the
discretionary grant window to be accessed by Levy and Non Levy Payers.
