1. Affix medium-weight fusible interfacing to the back
of the outer, lining, and inside pocket fabric pieces.
2. Affix heavyweight interfacing to the back of theouter fabric where the rivets will be inserted. Affix
the stabilizing foam interfacing onto the back of the
bottom fabric. Attach the purse feet. Sew together
the sides and the bottom piece (A).
3. Create the inside pocket and sew it to the liningfabric (B). Sew together the sides and the bottom/
gusset.
4. Insert the lining bag (3) into the outer bag (2). Sewthe sides. For each of the two top opening par ts,
fold down three times and sew (C).
5. Pass each end of the leather straps through theirrespective rings to create the two handles. Attach
the handles to the bag using the rivets (D).
6. Pass the bag frame pieces through thetri-folded top seam. Attach the frame pieces (E).

the back of all the outer and lining fabric pieces.
2. Affix the heavyweight interfacing to the bottom partof the bottom/gusset outer fabric. Sew together with
the two main body outer fabr ic pieces (A).
3.Leaving an opening for turning right side out, sewtogether the main body lining and bottom/gusset
lining fabric pieces.
4.Create a buttonhole in the leather tab(for closing the bag). Temporarily secure it to the
outer bag (B, step 2).
5.Insert the lining bag (B, step 3) inside the outer bag(B, step 4) and sew around the top opening (C). Turn
right side out and blind stitch the opening closed.
6.Create and attach the fabric-coveredbutton.
